Excellent remote controlled fan, quiet and easy to set up
I wanted a fan to keep my bedroom cooler at night now that the weather has warmed up. The remote control function is excellent as I can turn it on/off, oscillate or keep static, set timer for between 1-8 hours at hourly increments and there are 8 levels of fan power from slight breeze to gale force! The fan arrived within 24 hours of ordering, one of the big benefits of Amazon Prime meant I didn't have to go another night being too warm. The box was well packaged, a box inside a bigger box - none of the packaging was damaged. The fan was in approx 8 pieces but was very easy to assemble, I didn't even need a screwdriver. There was one small screw to do up on the fan grille but I did that with a nail file. The fan and stand are all white. The settings show as blue LED on a black panel halfway up the stand (if all three lengths of stand are used). The setting only shows for about a minute then it disappears. There are blister/press controls on the fan itself and the same again on the remote control. I have had the fan a couple of days and used it a lot. I don't find it at all noisy on settings 1-3 and not that noisy above that. Last night I set the timer for an hour and drifted off to sleep very easily. The remote does beep with each press of the button, this could be annoying if you had a baby or a light sleeper in the room but it is no problem to me at all. Originally I intended spending around £20 to £30 on a fan, but having factored in I would like a remote and timer functions, as well as it being sturdy and having several power settings I realised I needed to pay a little more. I was so glad I did, this fan is well worth the money. It comes with a two year warranty too.UPDATE 06/08/2024My Ansio fan is still working perfectly. It has survived 2 house moves and works as well now as it did when it was brand new. I use it a lot - pretty much daily - even in the winter as I like to feel air flow as I drop off to sleep. In the summer use it for hours at a time. It has been very well used. It has to be one of my best purchases. I also bought an Ansio tower fan for the lounge in 2022 - that one is just as good and also has a remote. I find the remote and timer great features as I can fall asleep and it turns itself off.

Best Fan Period.
Took a chance and paid a bit more than I usually would for a pedestal fan. But I wanted something well built and more importantly quite. This met both checks.Putting this together is pretty much a breeze. Instructions clear. Mind you, if you've put another pedestal fan together before, they are not that different. This took me about 5mins.On switch on it defaulted to setting fan 1. This produced a reasonable breeze. But I was shocked that I could not hear it. Cranked up to setting 3. This was barely above a whisper. I was very impressed. Even at setting 4 it is so quiet. And my Wife is very meticulous about background sound when sleeping. If you want a quiet pedestal fan when sleeping, this is The One....The remote control is very basic. Power on/off. Timer and oscillating control.But..... The BEEP. Changing speed settings from the unit or the remote emits a very loud beep that cannot be muted. Big downside. As others have mentioned. This has 8 speed settings, however I think the manufacturers should have built options into the unit/remote to scale down the fan intensity. If you are on setting 4 and want to go to setting 2 you have to press the speed button several times to cycle through the higher settings before going back to the low settings. Thats a lot of noisy beeps. Especially in the night.Overall. Would I recommend this fan? Yes. Purely because of the build quality, and also how quiet it is in it's general operation. Also forgot to add that a section of the pedestal can be removed so you could theoretically put this on a table etc. But I'm my opinion, the base is wide, so don't know how practical this would be. Also, this unit with the fan, base etc is quite heavy. At least you know it won't topple over easily. Hope this review helps you.
