Love this guitar, Love Amazon.com
Just got it this afternoon. I was really excited about this guitar and it is very definitely what I expected. I blame it on having bought an upper end Córdoba ukulele that was solid mahogany and realizing that it sounded and played better than any other ukulele that I had owned, so Córdoba made an impression on me with their uke. This guitar is really great I played it for several hours and am in love. Could hardly put it down. I think it is fairly expensive but I didn't want to spend another thousand dollars for one of their more elite artist grade type boxes so I am glad that I got this one. I can see selling or trading it later for something better if I want but for now it's my 'go to' nylon string. I have several yamahas and I will probably get rid of them as this one really fills the bill for flamenco sound. Like the electronics they sound great on my fender champion and are really adjustable and have a lot of tonal differences. It does feed back easily. Glad I bought it would buy again. As several people have said it is very light weight, sounds awesome plugged in. Viva La musica!

excellent conditions with minor defect
I bought this for my son, who has a nylon guitar with no pickup before. This was a major upgrade for him to step up in both quality and versatility (ie. electronic pickup). We know we want the Pruce top and rose wood side & back. That's why we got this model. I normally trust Sweetwater to deliver on the quality and 50 points of inspection. But Sweetwater did not have this particular one in stock. Honestly, going with a random vendor on Amazon for a guitar with this price tag has always been a risk in my opinion. But I know I also has the option to return it if it comes anything less than perfect. To my surprise, it came in almost perfect condition (hence 1 star taken away). I do not blame the seller for this. That's why I did not return it. The guitar came in beautify condition in every way, except, the fourth string broke within 24 hours with no rough playing (we know how to care for our guitars as we have quite a few expensive ones). in fact, during resting on my son's hand, the string just made a squeaky noise before it came apart, spontaneously. We got another Saverez set and just replaced the 4th string. Again, the 4th string broke within 24 hours in the similar manner. At this point, my good feeling about this guitar quality went down dramatically. By the way, the set of strings that came with the guitar looks absolutely pristine with no sign of use or defect. I finally got the another replacement for that string. It's been a few days. So far so good. My son absolutely fell in love with the guitar but he now plays with a fear of never knowing when the strings will break on him. I thought, the groove on the nut or saddle is to blame. It makes squeaky noise when I tune. So I had applied the Fret oil to ease the frictions at those points and it holds. I thought the quality control could have been better. Imagine you customer got the brand new guitar and had to go through what I went through... It's frustrating. But my son totally love this guitar, and it's all worth it.

Last time I will buy a premium guitar on the internet
First of all, it is a beautiful instrument that sounds great. However, it was not the right instrument for me. I find it very difficult to play a 2" nut width. Second, this has a high gloss finish on the neck and I prefer a satin finish. So, I decided to return it. And this is where the problem lay. First, I had to pay a high price for shipping. Second, a week after shipped-confirmation, I still had no refund. Only after going through Amazon did the vendor credit my account. But I also had to pay a $35 re-stocking fee. Better to order the instrument through my local Guitar Center and then have it shipped to the store. This way I can inspect the instrument before taking it home. Plus, if a return is needed, it can be done in the store.

Great Guitar For The Price
I'm not sure I'm the best person to review this guitar, since I have been away from classical guitar for two decades. Having said that, the axe was delivered undamaged to my doorstep. Amazon is great! Since I purchased the guitar, I have not put it down. It has a very nice feel. No frets buzz. Tone is very warm. Neck feels comfortable. I originally was gonna go with a Taylor or Martin, but their selections were limited and most had a non standard nut width. I wanted a traditional classical guitar. I think this model has a slightly narrower nut width than the standard classical guitar, but not by much, which is a good thing for me. I'm not sure what tension strings were provided. After a few weeks playing, I brought the guitar to guitar center for the high tension strings and to adjust the truss rod(?). I hear the higher tension strings pack more punch. I did not feel comfortable doing the adjustment myself. The tech said he was going to sand down the end of some frets. FYI. I have to say I'm happy that I got the cut-away. Makes some of the pieces I play so much easier. I have not plugged it into an amp yet. The guitar came with a great case that has a humidor built in. But to date it hasn't been back into the case. In short, I love the guitar. This is from a guy that has gotten away from all this for two decades. UPDATE: I put high tension strings on the guitar, and the guitar tech lowered the action. The guitar feels and sounds even better than before!! I am so happy with the purchase.

Absolutely beautiful guitar!
This is an extraordinary guitar! The quality of wood and the craftsmanship is truly worth it! I’ve been playing for many many years and how this beautiful guitar feels and handles is so comfortable to play. The sound quality is so full bright with nice balance from high to low range! Great value and worth the money!
