Battery A1484 for Netbook Pad Tablet Apple iPad 5, Air, Mini Air, A1474, A1475, MD785LL/A, MD786LL/A such as 6712-6700, A1484 with Tools

Bought 2 of these for my daughters' iPads (both 6 year old original batteries had expanded, one had popped off the screen). I followed a very useful battery replacement video on YouTube and used the tools supplied. Luckily, no other damage had occurred, because the screens are very strong and the digitizer simply unstuck from the rear casing. First battery was supplied with sticky tape to re-secure the digitizer, but the second one didn't! - so bought some separately. Both batteries came with sticky tape already attached to the battery, to secure it in place in the casing.Although it seems like a big job, because you have to remove almost everything inside first, it's not too difficult.Batteries came about 60% charged and after more than half a dozen charges so far, they seem fine, holding a similar capacity to the originals. Time will tell if they last as long!!

Followed the you tube instructions, and no problems fitting, battery does the job required at present, hopefully will continue the same.

Initially fitted and worked well but only 2-3 weeks. Now the Apple logo/constant reboot problem has returned.
