Spring and Early Winter for the Northeast
I have voles. Had tons of em' before i re did the front yard and sold the pool after we moved in. Still have them under the hot tub and the fields behind us. There is a misconception that the taste or smell is low and doesn't work. It isn't meant to be a taste or smell deterrent. The mixture irritates their skin and that's why it should be applied after watering or a rain. Burrowing voles have to get this on them for a repellent. I sprayed under the hot tub and 2 adult and baby voles went running. I don't know if it works the same for moles. It will require reapplication especially after a rain but with persistence they can be tamped down. If there is an area that supports them nearby, and there is habitat around your area, you may see them again.

Seems to be working so far.
Last year I had a terrible problem with moles. They ruined my entire, albeit small, lawn in the space of about a week. This year I planned ahead and bought molevict early in the spring and started applying it proactively every four weeks. I had a mole show up mid-June but it conspicuously avoided the lawn where I had applied molevict and stuck to the beds. Now I apply it every two weeks or at the first sign of mole activity. So far it has worked. Activity stops immediately after each application.

Unfortunately, This Didn't Help
I used this religiously, following the directions to a tee, but unfortunately I cannot say that it made a bit of difference.

doesn't work on moles in pacific northwest
bought it for mole problem. mixed according to label and sprayed with backpack sprayer after watering once a week for 4 weeks on a small patch of lawn in our backyard. I can say for sure that this does not work for us. we live just north of seattle, washington. ps. the ultrasonic ones don't work either. the expensive poison gel worms is the only thing that worked for us. our neighbor uses a pellet poison delivered by a metal pole with a crank which worked for him too.

Impressive
I combined this with warm water and dish soap (4:2 / gallon) and immediately noticed a difference in the ground mole activity. More slowly, the voles began to leave, but the voles take semi-continuous spraying to discourage them. Anytime it rains, you'll be out there again. It seems to work better than other methods from my wallet (tried sonic, and bait traps).

Only sort of works
I found it very difficult to get the application level of this product correct. I added it to a hose attachment and sprayed it onto the lawn that way. The first application appeared to be too light, as it had -zero- effect. The second time I guess it was too heavy, as it burned my grass in several places. I can't tell how well it would have worked because we got rain 7 of the following 9 days. The third (and final) time that I treated the yard I took the time and effort to measure the area, do the math to figure out exactly how much product I would need for that area, and carefully applied it at just that rate. And it finally worked. For two whole days. Then there was new activity, despite the package stating that it would work for 1-2 weeks. During that time there was no rain, and very little dew, so I'm sure it didn't get washed away. No way am I going through all that hassle and effort for two measly days of relief. I'll find a better product.
