Specific uses | Tips for selecting the length of circular needle: when knitting in the round consider the size of the piece that you are making and choose that length of needle the same or just shorter than the measurement of the garment. If your are knitting socks we recommend either 2 pairs of 60cm / 24" circulars or one 100cm / 40" long circular if you are using the magic loop method. You can, of course, always knit any flat piece on circular knitting needles, in which case the length is not so crucial! |

Easy to use, nice smooth transition, good lace tips
I like the Addi range for lacework, anything below 3mm I buy addi needles because not only are they accurate, they have special tips that allow for more precise control over finer yarns. These circular needles have a good smooth transition from needle through cable. The only downside, as with most circulars, is the printing of the sizes.Addi print the size on the cable .great . however...the ink used is a grey, the writing is tiny, and after just a few hours use, it rubbs off.I have found this problem with other brands too, N t just Addi.I really wish these manufacturers would come up with a better way. Something that lasts, something that is easy to read, darker, bigger.Another manufacturer colour codes their cables & needles, but they don't do the laceweight needles, let alone laceweight with lace tips, which is where addi excels.I am also a really big fan of the Addi sock range, sure you can magic loop a 80cm cable, but why have the hassle when you can just get very short tips, on a sock sized cable. Love them.big fan of the " sock wonder".So yes, I recommend Addi for the finer circulars, wich I also use in straight knitting, and the sock sized circulars.Easy to use, nice smooth needles, smooth transition to cable, smooth and flexible cables. That's a good pounti use knitpro for larger projects on larger needles but their cables are so frustrating, constantly fighting me, where's the Addi cables I have used are much more flexible, string yes, but flexible so they don't try and flip your work.

Lovely smooth knitting with this needle.
This needle works like a dream, lovely smooth action, the knitting just slides along. I must be going twice as fast as when I was using an old bamboo circular needle! Highly recommended.

Good Needles
Nice and smooth with no jog joins at the cable. Good value for money but I do prefer chiaogoo needles when I can get them. The chiaogoo have nicer needle tips and the cable is a much better design.

Very helpful if you need slidy needles
I bought these to knit a kit I bought from Lidl (cuddly cat). The kit came with double pointed needles but I was having a lot of trouble working with them, probably because I'm a beginner. One of the things I was having trouble with was working in the round with fluffy yarn (provided in the kit) because I tend to knit fairly tightly. With these the wool slides a lot more easily than another pair I tried from Prym. Initially I found I might drop a stitch off the end because they're so slidy but when I got used to them I really loved them. The cat is coming along nicely and I think these needles boosted my speed a fair bit. I'm planning to get more from this brand if I need different sizes.

Starting to bend!
These were okay for a sample piece but now I'm working on a tightly knit 5ply jumper they've started to bend/ warp.
