Best value Parlor...
Parlor guitars tend to be on the expensive side.... so getting this solid top under $200 is a bargain. Nicely made 12 fret guitar with slotted headstock.... looks and sounds great. James Neligan guitars should be a lot more popular than they are... I've set up half a dozen and they've all been terrific value.

Good looks, questionable quality.
If you are a fan of parlor guitars this guitar is fun to have and travel around with. The look and finish is great, but does not have very good volume or playability. Quality control is also an issue, the nut was actually of center and the bridge appears to be pulling the top a bit. I have no idea how these guitars are normally advertised for three and four hundred dollars they are no way near worth this amount of money but for a hundred fifty bucks probably. All said I don't mind it for the price I paid but have owned better parlor guitars for less money.

High quality guitar!
A great guitar with nice 18:1 ratio sealed Grover tuners, nice Fishman pre-amp with built in tuner, and cool unique inlays. The guitar looks hand-built and of much higher quality than the price leads on. I would recommend this instrument to intermediate or advanced players. I got mine on sale from a local shop and love it.

Pretty to look at, impossible to play.... So sad!!
The good news: A very well constructed and beautiful guitar. Tone was quite good and balanced. The bad news: Ordered three times and returned 3 times. First arrival was single-boxed and came severely damaged. The second and third iterations arrived in great shape. Unfortunately, either due to design flaw or storage issues (ie high humidity) both suffered from bellying of the top at and below the bridge. This resulted in extremely high action that could not be corrected with neck or saddle adjustments. Its unfortunate, as this could have been a great addition to my acoustic lineup, instead becoming 3 returns to the UPS store. To their credit, Amazon was sympathic throughout this tedious process and in the end refunded my purchase price.

Bright sounding guitar
Bright sounding guitar. Very well designed, considering it's a lighter wood. Excellent value to price ratio.
