After having purchased the Cytac version of this for my S&W Shield .9mm I wanted one for one of my .45's. Not that I needed another holster, just that these are very good holsters, and easy on, easy off. My .45's are Springfield 1911's, full size. Range Officer Model's. Although they come with Kydex holsters, they don't cover the entire pistol. These do. Plus they have the safety latch which works very well. All that is required when you go to draw the weapon is lay your forefinger down and slightly press the release button. Draw the pistol, all in one motion. No time is lost. It's a very natural feeling. The holster is adjustable and comes with an allen wrench. You can't beat the price for the quality of these holsters. I now own two. The only negative, you can't conceal wearing these holsters. At least not easily. But I didn't purchase either of them for that purpose. If you need or want a great carry holster that secures your weapon, this is it. Look forthe Cytac brand. Doesn't matter who sells it. But I will say, this seller is selling them at a great price. And with PRIME, you get them in two days. If you don't have Prime, get Prime too.

Perfect fit. Great retention without any rattling. Very comfortable with the adjustable paddle attachment. Red dot cut works great no rubbing at all.

This holster fits my Ruger SR1911 like glove. It was too snug until it was adjusted. It is still snug but a nice fit. My gut feeling is the holster will loosen up a bit with use. The gun is securely locked into place. I don't have clue what other reviewers are referring to when they say the lock functionality does not work. There is no way the gun is coming out of the holster without using the finger release. The adjustable cant is a nice touch. The holster comes with two Allen wrenches, one to loosen and tighten the cant bolt and one to adjust the tension. For $30, this is a keeper.

It can be difficult to find decent holsters for government sized 1911s, and you guys know what wearing a 38 oz. pistol on your hip feels like. My only compliant would be, if you want to tuck the clip portion completely inside your pants (wearing a belt or without one) it is kind of tough to separate it from the main holster housing. Of course, you can wear it completely outside your pants with a sturdy belt, and it works fine. Overall, it has a good feel and the "click-in" sound you hear when you holster your pistol, feels solid and holds the weapon well.

This is a perfect fit for a Springfield Armory Milspec 1911. Other makes and models may vary of course. Slides in and out very easily, locks in smoothly with no fuss. Upon drawing, simply drag the index finger across the release button and pull - the button requires little pressure. The paddle is large enough, it can be rotated 360 degrees for your preferred angle by loosening an Allen screw inside the holster, Allen wrench provided. The paddle can be worn between belt and pants, which I think is the intention - but also over the belt and pants, inside the pants, for a more positive suspension. The back of the paddle is lined with soft slip-resistant rubber. For the price, this is an excellent holster. It's made of a thick, nicely molded polymer, stronger than kydex.

It's a pretty nice holster. However, it doesn't fit my AMT Hardballer full frame.

I bought this holster not expecting to much from it due to the price. I just needed something for trail hiking. But after receiving it and examining it and actually using it. It's a great holster. Fits my Remington R1 perfectly. I seen some comments of people saying "a little bit of the nose of the gun would stick out." of the holster but mine didn't. And my R1 is a five inch barrel. Now I did get the upgraded option over the standard. So maybe that's why mine didn't stick out? All in all I would recommend this holster to anyone.
