A little time-consuming to assemble but useful bulk storage for media
For high density DVD storage, this provided both the best capacity and lowest price I could find. More robust commercial racking would cost a lot more yet be less appropriate for the average home. It looks good and does what I require. It comfortably holds 378 standard DVD/BD boxes. As for assembly, yes it takes some time. There are two basic stages. The first part is to install 64 dowels; easy but a little tedious. The remaining construction can be completed fairly quickly but is easier if there is someone to assist. The only tricky part is joining the two mid-sections as a little effort may be required to align the dowels and cam locks. My advice:- use the instructions to make sure everything is oriented correctly (they clearly show everything if you look at the diagrams properly.- only fit the shelves between the internal upright sections until the two sections are joined. The outer shelves will simply fall out until you are ready to fit the side panels and serve no purpose until you are ready to fit the end that will support them.- don’t apply pressure to the shelves in trying to push the mid-sections together, only hold the vertical sections.I’m happy with the product, delivery was extremely fast, support from the trader was excellent, I would recommend this product for it’s stated use.

Very well made but quite difficult to assemble
Once you get the hang of how to assemble this then it does become easier.I used UHU glue [Comes in a Yellow Tube, dries solid] rather than the cheap glue included in the kit and left the small 'H' sections to dry overnight to assist in the assembly,I also use the UHU glue as a sealant on the back of the units to seal in the back panels to the MDF sections again making the unit a lot more ridged than the cheap clips included in the kit.Take your time over the assembly then you will be rewarded with a very strong and robust unit that, although is a bit of a pain at first to get used to assembling, is well worth it in the end.The unit weighs 24kg assembled.

Exactly what it said on the tin
Perfect fit. Really nice black finish. With a bit of patience and thought it fits together effortlessly. Built it myself in 2hrs. The longest part was glueing in all the dowels. There was some damage to the back panels... but in a spot that I managed to hide. Delivery was NEXT DAY!!

Look good when built but horrible to assemble
I bought 2 of these, the assembly is very fiddly, and at points of the build the structure feels very flimsy, which did cause some damage as I was going through the instructions.Leave a good amount of time for building, and expect to become frustrated.I will say they look good when built and filled, but I wouldn't buy them again.

A real pig to put together
Definitely a 2 person job to assemble. But lovely when done.

Took 3 hours to complete - absolute b*%£*r to put together!
IKEA products are much easier - the only plus point I would give them is the pieces are all given a letter so that was good. I am used to putting together flatpacks but this was very time consuming and awkward - didn't think it was that steady until final screws tightened and even then, I thought it was a bit wobbly. Does the job for my CDs but would not buy again - back to BILLY products at IKEA next time!
