Succeeds in what's its aspiring to be
As a budget arcade stick that is compact enough to take on a flight with the already compact Switch experience (deck, console, cables, etc), it's built extremely well. Controls are responsive, the amount of resistance from the joy stick feels well, and the buttons feel good. I use this stick for Under Night In-Birth, Blazblue, Guilty Gear, etc, and I look forward to using it for more arcade-like eshop games. I feel like the arcade stick would enhance experiences such as Ikaruga and Panzer Dragoon. If I were to have a new version of this stick made, I would like to have the stick be heavier. That's one of the aspects that makes the main, super beefy Hori sticks feel good to hold. The stick I'm reviewing is super light, and I feel that is for lighter transport and for cheaper manufacturing. All in all, I highly recommend this stick if you're someone who travels from state to state and want to travel light. If you have the money and primarily play at home, I'd recommend their higher end $150 something arcade stick over this one. Given that I already have their higher end one for my playstation, I wanted to buy a stick that better reflected my Switch experience, and the product it is trying to be succeeds and is worthy of its price point.

The inexpensive arcade stick I keep coming back to
I'm not someone who plays a lot of fighting games, so I can't say whether or not this might be good for someone who does, but as someone who plays a lot of retro games, and who occasionally gets tired of having a sore thumb, this small stick is wonderful. I also have an 8BitDo wireless arcade stick, but somehow I keep coming back to this one. You can use it by resting it on your lap which you can't do with other arcade sticks which are too large and heavy, but you can also put it on a table if you want where the small bottom rubber pads make sure it doesn't move. For your average 2D platform game like the recently released Mario vs. Donkey Kong on the Switch it works very well. It also has a turbo feature. It also works on a PC, and with a Brooks Wingman XB adapter it will even work on an XBox 360, and with a Brooks Wingman PS2 adapter it will also work on a PS2. I've used it on all of them. Now for the negatives. It just copies the d-pad inputs, not the L-stick or R-stick inputs as other more expensive arcade sticks can do, so it won't work with a game like Super Smash Bros. which requires analog stick inputs. The buttons also can not be remapped on the Switch, and it will even tell you "Cannot remap" if you go into the settings and try. On a PC there are programs like AntiMicroX and JoyToKey or emulators which do allow you to remap it however. While it won't do what everyone wants I'm sure, it is very affordable and is an excellent entry arcade stick for anyone. And for someone like me who just maybe wants an extra small edge at Pac-Man and the 2D platformers as he gets older, it's great.

A great stick with a few hitches. (Yes, it is PC Compatible)
I bought this fight stick for three reasons, to play it with a few switch games that are perfect for arcade controls, to play emulated arcade machines on my PC, and because I'm a bit of a cheap guy.I got this stick for less than $50 and while I wanna say it's a good deal, there's just a few things that really annoy me about this controller. They're very minor but still knock off a star. The first issue is that the L and R buttons are configured where the L buttons is on the right side, and the R buttons is on the left side... I don't get it either.Another issue is the lack of heft this controller needs to give it the weight to prevent it from sliding around. If you're using it on a smooth surface desk then yeah it's fine, but on a large mouse pad like I have, it can slide around a bit. I'm sure if I cracked it open and glued some lead weights into it, it'll fix that but jeez...There's also no touch centering for the buttons. What do I mean by that? If you're at your keyboard, look at the little bumps on a couple of the keys. Those are TouchType markers, they help your fingers feel the centering of the keyboard and keep you in place. With this gamepad, there is no centering and can be a bit easy to mix up the controls. This can be fixable using a small droplet of nail polish or glue, but it seems so cheap to not do so.The system buttons on the top right (in the recessed portion) do NOT have any clear markings, instead some weird softening of the plastic that you can really only see in direct light or reflection. But the real thing that brings this down to four stars is this:THE BUTTONS DO NOT HAVE MICROSWITCHES, ONLY THE JOYSTICK HAS MICROSWITCHES.I mean really? I'd easily pay an extra $20/$30 for that feature, but c'mon, rubber dome switches? It just dampens the experience of this gamepad severely, but not so much that it's not a good polished alternative to buying an expensive pre-made fight stick controller or building your own.Overall, not a bad controller, can add to the experience to various games (TowerFall Ascension and Cursed Castilla EX is GREAT for this kind of controller!), but just little design decisions that make absolutely no damn sense...

Works with the Switch Lite if you have Type A female to type C male adapter.
I had this Google Type A to type C adapter and works perfectly with the Switch lite. I did tried my iPad and it doesn’t work for Vampire Survivors. It’s very light which I like since I have an old school PS1 HORI mini Fight stick but it’s metal in the bottom. I haven’t tried the PC yet. If it saids it’s compatible for PC I’ll believe it I’ll try it on my Steam Deck and get back to this review but so far I love the size and the stick feels good plus the buttons feel great but I keep pressing ZR button than the A button but that was my only complaint.

It's ok, the price is right though.
It works well enough for a budget entry stick. Totally gameable. I bet it's great for someone with small hands, it's a bit cramped for me. The square gate is surprisingly decent.
