Genuine Chrysler 68517554AA Air Filter

Looks like a good quality filter. Shipped in sealed plastic wrap inside a box. Fit and sealed well. No check engine light with 2022 Ram 2500 CTD. Ordered another one for next change. Good value compared to OEM.

BE AWARE - this is not the superseded air filter for the Mopar 53034051AB Air Filter as stated by someone. I used it for my 2019 RAM 2500 diesel. After 250 miles drives my truck threw out the DTC P0299 - TurboCharger UnderBoost. I took it out and saw there were three lines of glue in the bottom of the filter. I replaced it back to a new Mopar 53034051AB Air Filter and cleaned up the code. Now my truck has been so far so good for more than 200 miles already. it's accelerations seem more responsive and RPM's are lower at the speed compared to having this air filter.However, the air filter has good quality and price, there is nothing wrong with it.

Received the Air filter and first thing I noticed is that it does not have the orange gasket around the filter media as my stock has and a different part number. The number on the filter that was sent is 68517554AA not 53034051AB as described in the listing. Did a quick search and the filter that I received 68517554AA supersedes 53034051AB. So its a direct fit and a true OEM air filter.

Mine came in as a #68517554AA instead of the usual #53034051AB. According to Mopar/Chrysler this is the new number that supersedes the previous filter. I guess they changed manufacture after they started putting the same filter in the 6.4 Hemis in the 2500’s. Looks good with the pleats separated with plenty of room for air. Arrived fast and undamaged. In a plastic bag inside of a box just the right size.Edit:After running the new style filter for 3 months, it has pulled my filter minder down to 15 in/hg. The same as the older style after 18 months.
