Genteq 5x370 Run Capacitor 5uf 370 Vac

Measured just right on a sencore cap checker, looks exactly like the GE cap I replaced on a heatpump fan.

I replaced an old capacitor that read only .5uf with this one in a Trane Air handler that is 14 years old. It was a bit wider than the original but the clamps screw was long enough that I backed it out some to squeeze the new one in. The motor starts right up now.

The fan blower on our 20 year old Amana unit stopped working and would not turn over until I replaced the capacitor. Similar issue about 7 years ago, although the local HVAC supply was reluctant to sell me the part the last time. Grainger has this same part for a couple of bucks but that requires a 35 minute trip there and back. I probably saved $350 between the two times replaced since HVAC repair shops mark up the part 10 fold and charge you their regular trip charge. Worked like a charm and was relatively easy to do. Make sure you discharge the old one before installing.

I can't believe that I figured out what I needed to replace to make the old electric furnace come back on in our home when it was 20 degrees outside. Needless to say, on that day. I was a freaking HERO!!!!!! My girlfriend did not have to pay a HVAC technician to come out and fix it for $110+ bucks, and I guessed after a little bit of Google researching, removed 2 screws, and replaced it with this one, plugged the electric connector back in and walaa!! It has been several months now, and the furnace is chugging right along and puts out better heat then it ever has!! So I would like to thank Genteq for making a super powered capacitor, and also Google for making it all possible!

Amazon.com allows us to find what we need quickly & delivery exceeds expectations! We live in a small rural community, 100 miles from a real metropolitan access so that is important! However the other issue is that what we order is good quality and performs as described. Due to busy schedules & lots of activity, I need for my kitchen to work smoothly & efficiently. The purchase of the compactor was a win/win experience. It only took 2 days to get here and get it installed. It was a perfect fit and is quieter than the one it replaced!

I received my capacitor earlier than expected. Very good shipping. Price is excellent also. However, when I opened the package, it is not an OEM GE Capacitor like advertised in title and picture. It is a no brand made in China capacitor. I installed it today and it seems to work. Here's hoping. However, I must say that I am pretty ticked off because I hate false advertising and they are lying in the product description.
