Maybelline New York Makeup Expert Wear Twin Eyebrow Pencils and Eyeliner Pencils, Velvet Black Shade, 2 Count (Pack of 1)

I have used this brand of eyeliner for years! But for a long time now it seemed they started making them cheaply. I was about to give up on them because they kept breaking off in the sharpners when I would sharpen them. I would start with a long pencil only to throw it away because I had sharpened it to a stub! The wood around the crayon would splinter and flake off. They never use to be like that and I have used them for at least 47 years. But then I bought the " Trim Deluxe Lip & Eye Pencil Sharpener. 2-pack " and realized it was the sharpner, not the eyeliner! Thank goodness I found the sharpner which is here on Amazon because I have always loved these pencils. You get more for your money with this eyeliner and it does the job beautifully!

This is my favorite eyeliner and I have been using it since the 80's. It can be used for both eyes and brows. I like it because you can use it for lightly lining your eyes and for doing really dark lines. The trick to doing really dark black lines is to melt it for a couple of seconds over a lighter, let it cool for another few seconds, blow on it, then carefully line your eyes. If you make a mistake, you can easily correct it with eye makeup remover on aQ-tip. It stays on pretty much all day (and night - lol) as well if you use the melting method. I recommend you give the melting method a try if you are looking for a dark black liner that really stays put better than any other. It doesn't flake off or really smear. You might only have to touch up at the corner of your eyes, but that's about it.

This has always been my favorite eyeliner. Have tried others, but always go back toMaybeline. I do burn it to make it dark. Always my go to.

I won't use any other pencil but this one. I started using it when I was 16 years old. I used it as an eye liner and eyebrow filler also used it on the wet line of my eye lids. It gives clean lines, no smudging or smearing and it's water proof. After 47 years I still use this to fill in my eyebrows. I have five daughters and they also use this pencil. If it's good enough for my girls, I can most certainly recommend Maybelline Expert Wear Eyebrow Pencil to anyone else. Make-up is the the best ever.Susan

I have used Maybelline eyeliner for a really long time now and love the way their pencils draw on so smoothly. This two package deal is also amazing! If you’re thinking about buying, I would recommend because the effect is so beautiful. However, just be aware that like any other pencil, you will have to sharpen it which sometimes makes the product crumble. It hasn’t been a major problem for me though.

over the years i have strayed away to other brands, even pricey ones, but end up going right back to using this old decades favorite. Unlike a lot of new eyeliners & mascara products that disappear after a bit, there is a reason this pencil eyeliner has been around for decades, it and a lighter is simply the best eyeliner there is to me. been mostly using it for over 3 decades and no matter what age you are or how your eyes are aging, lightly melt tip with lighter, softly blow on it to cool it some and poof you have yourself the best soft liner pencil in black there is and it stays on the inside of your eyelids the longest too. just invest in a decent eyeliner pencil sharpner.. i think i shall quit straying away now, there is just no better.

I love these eyebrow pencils!!! Got them in velvet black, and got 11 packs!!!I used to be able to buy them here in Montreal, but they discontinued them, it seems. Don't know why!They are the ONLY eyebrow pencils that do the job, and I've tried a few others since I wasn't finding these here any more, and have been very disappointed. As long as I can find them through Amazon.com, I don't care LOL.They do such a great job and match by eyebrow hairs perfectly that people don't realize I actually fill mine in (I'm missing about half my brows due to overplucking at a young age. These 11 packs will last me a loooong time but I'll probably stock up again real soon just to be on the safe side.
