The media could not be loaded. Very easy to install and the color is matte and lovely. The leather quality feels good. It's very durable and we have had it for a few years with no issues. The viewing angle is good nothing gets blocked.

This is the 2nd Fintie case I've purchased for my mini iPad. My previous one (Shades of Blue) lasted close to 10 years; pretty impressive. (About year 9 I started getting cracking on the "binding" edge). What I especially like about this case is the method used to keep the iPad secure in the case. Hard to describe - look at the photos. The competitor's cases use some kind of flexible gasket to hold the iPad. Seems like that would fail w/in a few years. This Fintie case holds the iPad securely using pleather strips, along w/velcro. I purchased the Van Gogh design; it's pretty and well made. My rating is 4 stars; it'll go to 5 if it lasts even half as long as my first one. Great price too; thanks Fintie!

It works well enough, but…This is my second order of this case for an iPad Mini 5. I use a Swede stylus and after two or three years its holder had stretched enough that the stylus started falling off unless it was securely fastened by the tab and stored just right. But that’s not the main reason for 3 stars. It is that the case is a little too small for the Mini 5. To get it in, one end of the case has to be audibly overstretched, resulting in part of that end’s holder being “bent” out of shape and not laying properly.

I have had the exact cover on my older iPad and like it so much, I did not hesitate to immediately order one for my new iPad mini. It’s not a heavy, rugged case like what I have on my phone, but it provides the type of protection I need for when I slip it into my purse, or just using mostly at home. When it’s closed, prevents the screen from getting scratches from keys in my purse. I like to draw with my Apple Pencil, so I do not want any extra film or plastic screen covering in my way, and this case does not have that which is perfect. It’s a nice sturdy case, well made, and also has a loop to hold my Apple Pencil which is very convenient. There’s pleather corners that cover the corners of my iPad mini from getting minor bumps and scratches. I am not sure how well it would protect if dropped from several feet, since I’ve never dropped it, or my older iPad to say that it wouldn’t crack, but it’s definitely reduced surface scratches. My older iPad still looks brand new with the exception of fingerprints on the screen.
