Shumee Wooden Ice Cream Magnetic Set (Age 3 Years+)

Shumee company’s toy ice - cream is very nice to play and the colours are very beautiful and toy ice cream set is very good. Only one issue though- magnets are not strong enough to hold entire ice cream together when turned upside down

The wooden toy ice creams are a real value for money.They are far better than plastic toys.They are sturdy, good looking.The magnets are quite effective.We totally loved it.Thanks to Shumee for making such fantastic wooden toys.

My won loves these. The colors are very pretty. The only thing i found was the magnet is too week to hold the wooden pieces... it keeps falling of in little hands :)

These are sturdy, beautifully painted toys that are not made in China, but in India! They are wooden toys and so eco-friendly too. These are very important factors for me. I would suggest to go for it without hesitation.My daughter is totally fascinated and in love with these. We are taking turns to play Ice-cream seller. She can not bear to be separated from it and sometimes taking the box to bed :)They are absolutely great and I would like to see more innovative toys from Shumee. Thank you Shumee ♥

Liked the concept of detachable parts to the ice cream. Very compact can be easily carried while travelling. Helps in pretend play. Since its wooden - unbreakable & my daughter loves to make different mix & match ice creams. Non toxic colours are non hazardous even if little one puts in their mouth. A must have.

This toy is supposed to promote creativity. But sadly the toy’s magnetic forces are very badly built. The magnets work only in the centre. And they work only in one direction. So there is no scope for creativity at all. My 2.5 yr old daughter who is definitely not dumb, got bored with this toy is exactly 5 min. This is a very very very useless toy. Infact we find that most Shumee toys are quite useless. The only toy she consistently liked is the shape sorter. Verdict: Don’t even think of purchasing this one.

I'm reviewing this after 3 months of having this magnetic ice cream set. Got this for my 18 month baby and she really enjoys putting the ice creams together. The pieces are solid and the painting is cute.But for whatever reason they have not glued the magnets in place. Instead the are just pushed in the holes and painted over. After about 2 weeks the magnets started coming out. Not falling out, but the magnetic pull of the other magnet would make the magnets stick together and pull one out from it's piece.It is an easy fix - simply put fevi quick glue in the hole, push the magnet back in, and spread a little more glue over the top. Since doing that none of the magnets have been pulled out again. But after 3 months I've had to glue at least 6 magnets that have come out. My baby is less than 2 yrs old so I sit with her and supervise the play and know exactly when the magnet comes out and I can fix it right away. My concern is if a child is left alone to play and the magnets come out then they will get lost easily and the toy will be useless. Or the child may try to put the magnet in the mouth.So overall, the toy is cute and fun for kids, but watch your child when playing because the magnets will come out.

I hate buying plastic toys, so these make for great presents. Wish the magnets were stronger though because some of the pieces keeping slipping off.
