Pilot Pensemble Roll Pen Case 5 Pocket Cowhide Dark Brown

Nicely packaged. Very tactile leather than has been well-tanned and made supple. The interior is very smooth, the pen sleeves are generous in size, and it is all strongly-stitched and lovely leather. The roll strap is very sturdy and well-finished. Rolled with five pens it's approximately 7 tall x 3 wide by 1.75 thick.Took less than 2 weeks from Japan to my door which is fast shipping for a non-expedited parcel.What sold me on this roll case from others was the very soft interior, the flaps, and separate sleeves for each pen. Many pens cost a lot. I don't want two pens touching, rubbing, and scuffing each other in a case. I have a very nice two pen case. But the pens can touch and rub so it's really a one pen case.There may be other roll pen cases out there just as nice as the Pilot Pensemble, but I couldn't find them. This is a good value and excellent protection for your investment.

This is a very good pen case. Its outer layer is made from a soft genuine leather, very nice to the touch. The interior is also made from soft leather that won't scratch you precious pens no matter what material those are made from. Internal flaps prevent pens from scratching each other. I have three of them now in different colors. Highly recommended.

Already had the 1 pen case from Pilot so I kind of knew what to expect but it's even better. Super soft but still durable leather. Excellent to carry my valuable expensive fountain pens.

A very supple genuine leather inside and out. Interior is made from a soft suede that protects every surface of each of the five pens it holds. It is designed with two very wide pen slots and three wide enough slots to hold larger diameter pens. This case will not accommodate a Namiki Emperor!All my cases fall far short of holding this ridiculous pen though. I would recommend this case for holding one’s top 5 favorite pens that are inked. I thought I paid less, but the 62+ I paid Was a very fair price once I had a chance to examine and really use it. It has a 24 inch folded stitched closure lash that wraps around the case several times with the end easily tucking under itself to create a strong friction fit that doesn’t easily come undone.

Fine feel to this case. My only complaint is the pockets aren't all the same size, for some reason. 4/5

I hesitated spending this much money on a protective pouch for my fountain pens, but I could not find a quality item for much less than this one was. When I opened the box, I knew I got what I paid for! The leather is beautiful and has a luxurious feel. I like the way the pouch closes with the leather strap. The big deal though is the inside where the pens are placed. Plenty of room there! The softness protects the pens. I like the flap that folds over the pens for further protection. I like the way the pouch rests when opened. This beautiful leather pouch will definitely last as long as my beautiful fountain pens will. In the long run, I think I actually saved money being indulgent!

This is very supple and soft. I like it a lot and use it daily for a few months now. As some others have mentioned, it has a very strong chemical smell when new. I had to lay it out in the open for a couple of weeks before the chemical smell was completely gone. I look forward to using this for many years. Quality is high.

I wanted to like this pen roll so badly because it is beautifully made and the leather is very nice. But... the pen roll I received smelled strongly of chemicals. It reeked and the smell wouldn't dissipate even after a few days of airing out...
