AFX 21018 Super International (MG+)

The HO AFX Race Car Set - Super International was delivered on time and fully complete. All parts, instructions, etc. were in the kit. That said, do take the time to read the printed materials fully before putting the track together. You'll want to understand the different 9" radius curves or you'll be switching them later. Anyway, the track went together and when the grandkids found it, 3 1/2 hours of non-stop racing. A few of the track connecting tabs had to be pushed down as part of the refinement to keep the cars from going off the track, but easy fix. Buy one from Model Empire (seller), and have lots of fun.

Very large track. Cars are fast but easy to control with the variable speed selector.

Package had a protective box over the track box so it arrived in mint condition and will be saved if ever needed. I'm 65 and want to play once again to remember my childhood days but now with more advanced faster cars, better track connections , controllers and the adjustable power supply. Beings I'm just starting over it's going to take me some time to put everything together as I'm wanting everything needed on hand to construct a full track and table.........5 STARS LEFT......THANK YOU........

Update: I tried a different layout that uses the elevation blocksthey won't even stay clipped together. This is horrible quality I'm extremely dissatisfied. For as much as this track cost I would expect auch better quality track. The cars work fine. The track however is very hard to clip together (yes per instructions). The locking tabs do not fully mate with one another. It creates a tiny little ramp that the car hits causing it to fly off the track. Another thing to keep in mind is this is actually two separate tracks to create the four lanes. However this is a nice feature as I can control the speed on two separate lanes for the beginner racers not interfering with the more experienced racers and we can all still run at the same time. The two tracks also separate leaving a good size gap between the two .

We bought this to have when our grandkids come over. We've all had fun racing.
