Yep, it is wood
I love that it is in fact wood. 👍Great table topper and you can carve out of it easily. But I prefer to leave it the way it is, because that makes a great conversation piece.

Decent carving wood
The wood came packaged loosely, however being that it’s just wood the packaging isn’t very important. The wood is okay for carving, some sides are super easy to cut through, but other sides are a bit difficult to get through. It has splintered a few times, but for the price it’s decent whittling wood.
