Great for small family in apartment.
I have purchased other machines similar to this one in the past where you have to remove the clothes from the wash and put them in the other side to spin. While the other machine did the job of washing and wringing out the clothes very well this machine blows that one out of the water. This machine works VERY well for my needs as a single mom with severe allergies to detergents who cannot use any shared washers and doesn't have a washer dryer hook up in my apartment. While the machine does not have a heated dry cycle it does wring the clothes out very well in the spin cycle to where they are almost dry when they come out and dry very fast air drying or with a portable clothes dryer. To give an idea of how well the machine washes we wash everything in it from bedding to clothing to menstrual underwear & dog bedding. Due to all of my allergies I use menstrual underwear instead of the mainstream chemical filled menstrual products and this machine washes them so well they come out looking brand new everytime. Stained clothes from my daughter are no match for this machine paired with out homemade detergent. And our dogs snuffle mats and bedding come out fresh and clean everytime. When I originally hooked up the machine I did have an incident of having water all over my floor twice when the washer drained as the instructions say that the drain tube needs to be upright during the cycle so I did that and then had to clean up the water and trouble shoot. I ended up hooking up the tube to the bathtub spout so that it drains directly to the bathtub and the hose stays in place.Once I got over the troubleshooting with the drain hose it has been SUPER simple to use and washes a decent size load for such a small washer. I do laundry more often than I use to due to the load capacity being smaller than a full size washer but this isn't such a big deal to me. For reference 7.7lb capacity allows me to wash a load of towels or bedding just fine. I am even able to wash our couch cover and dog bedding in the machine. When it comes to bedding and bigger items I have to do one load per item but it washes it very well and even gets all the dog fur.The lint thing in the washer works well, I clean it after each use. I have no way to tell if the blue light is a real UVC light but the blue light does turn on for every cycle.I purchased a splitter for my shower hose to hook up the washer and have it stay hooked up and be easier to use.The machine isn't super quiet but it isn't super loud either, it makes the same amount of noise as a regular washer does and has a little ring that tells you when the load is complete.

Great product!
I bought this specifically for washing our dogs blankets outside on the patio so my washer and dryer didn't get clogged with fur. I put a pantyhose leg onto the hose, put the hose into a water barrel and didn't use soap. The pantyhose was absolutely filled with hair, the lint collector in the washer was full of fur and once I washed the blankets twice, I took them inside and washed them with detergent in my washer. It saved so much time cleaning and vacuuming out the dirt from my washer! After I'm done with this small washer, I drain the water into the yard and leave the washer open overnight to dry then move it into the storage building. Small but powerful!

Lifechanging during the COVID-19 pandemic!
I did a lot of research about portable washing machines and settled on this one based on compact size, sleek look, and other positive online reviews. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine! As an apartment dweller in NYC during this pandemic, I do not want to be spending time in the elevator and communal laundry room. While you can only do small loads in this, I simply do 2 or even 3 loads in a row and then just let everything air dry. I am saving money on laundry machine in basement and avoiding exposure to others. This machine is super quiet except in some cases when off balance probably due to the items being washed. I keep my machine on it's dolly in my bathroom full time and attach the incoming water to my sink faucet and the drain pipe over my tub facet handles. IMPORTANT: HOWEVER, while I love this new purchase, there are things I any potential buyer should know: 1) The water empties very quickly and there's a lot of it, so I only recommend using the drain in a tub or a very deep utility basin. Your bathroom sink would probably overflow every time the machine drains. I don't think this machine would work well with most kitchen sinks either unless they are super deep, as you would need to keep an eye on the lint, whereas in my tub, I don't worry about it flooding and can go about my business while the machine is washing. 2) The lint catcher in this machine doesn't seem to trap much lint, so lint comes out in the water and will clog your drain. Be sure to get a lint catcher for the tub and empty it often. I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B6AA72S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 3) The plastic hose will strip easily and I use pliers to tighten my attachments each time I use them, so buy this hose: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00838I9UO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 4) Bring this hose to your local hardware store and the end of your bathroom faucet bit and ask them to recommend which tap converter to use. (There was another reviewer on here who posted the incorrect adaptor to use with this hose, so don't order that one.) 5) I recommend this wheeled dolly as the right size for this machine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q28RX2Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 6) Whoever translated the instruction booklet is not very good at English. It makes almost no sense and doesn't mention any details about how to use the settings. Giantex should hire an English speaker to create a more thorough instruction booklet that includes detailed instructions on how to use the settings. I found someone online who said to use the medium water level and "normal" load setting so I have been using that. If you want to soak before washing, keep hitting the blinking button below the "normal, standard, fast" section until it scrolls back up to the setting you want (in my case, normal) and stops blinking. That will soak your laundry first. With the blinking light, it starts washing once the water fills. There are few online tutorials about this machine that I found helpful. Just google this machine on YouTube and you will find some. There was some big plastic black piece like long rectangular bracket with a recess and holes in it in the packaging that seemed like it became dis-attached from something inside the bottom of the machinery. One tutorial says it's just packaging and not part of the machine. Not sure where she found that information but it would be nice if Giantex could clarify that. I actually stuck it in the bottom of my machine where it looked like it should fit, and it seems to not be causing any problem. Any one else know what that large black bracket thing is? In any case, this machine has brought some joy to my life during this awful pandemic, and in the long run it will save me money on what I was spending on my building's machines. Highly recommend if you have a tub! I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the horrible, barely English instruction booklet.

Perfect!
It's the perfect apartment-sized washer! I've used this almost every day since I purchased it (my husband goes through work clothes FAST) and I couldn't happier. It's easy to use, just like a normal washer, it's super quiet which was a bit unexpected (in a good way), doesn't shake on uneven floors since the legs are adjustable, and it's light enough to be picked up by my 4'8" self with ease (I believe it's 40lbs).Thank you for an amazing product!
