I LOVE this light
I got this initially as part of a larger Milwaukee set. I love this Milwaukee product line, but I had no use for another light. Oh well, part of a set is part of a set. Then I used it. O M G. The light is bright, the tool is convenient, the battery life is ... well, I haven't had to recharge it yet so I don't know. I bought another one. These are expensive if you add in the battery pack but well worth it. I really do love this light.

Awesome addition
The beam is very bright and uniform, coupled w/ the 4.0 battery this flashlight will run for a very long time, I used it for close to an 30 minutes and it didn't move the battery off 4 bars. The swivel feature of the head is an effective no hands solution if your under a car or in a situation requiring both hands. I bought this light because it has an awesome beam for work and w/ a rechargeable battery Im not burning through batteries on my surefire when working in the garage.The 4.0 battery is very capable, this is my 2nd one. I use it to power the light, the high torque impact, and a vacuum cleaner. The red lithium technology has eliminated a lot of the problems of rechargeable battery, number one being memory effect. These batteries can be stored full, half power, etc, and they don't need to be left on the charger. The M18 line up is very competitive w/ corded tools, and in some cases will surpass them. This is in a very large part made possible by this battery technology.

Lots of fake batteries out there, but this one was legit. Verified by a Milwaukee repair center.

Both LED and Battery Failed within 2 ~3 months ~ DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I have other Milwaukee M18 tools, but this was a big disappointment and a total fail.First, the intensity of the LED kept diminishing to the point where it was still "on" but you could look directly at it. It had less output than a 1960s AA penlight! It made no difference wha the battery charge state was, or which of my other batteries I tried.Second, the battery soon after failed .It would not take a charge and just flashed alternate red-green, no matter which of my two chargers it was in.They look like genuine Milwaukee parts, but now I wonder.At the time I paid around 120 for this disappointing junk, but it seems the price has now come down some.
