Excellent coverage, easy application
This paint was very easy to apply, and gave a really good smooth finish, the colour is perfect for my needs, I would describe it as on the darker side of mid grey when applied to concrete..Longevity I have given 4 stars , as only time will tell, but I am encouraged to think that too would be good.

Excellent pant
Son's bedroom on a very tight budget. Couldn't afford a carpet, nor hiring a heavy duty sander to get floorboards into good enough shape just to varnish or stain them. So paint was the only option. Did a bit of research and it seems that proper acrylic floor paint is the way to go, but it all seemed ridiculously expensive, until I found this product. The main work is in getting the floorboards as clean as possible and sanded - not easy with a little round hand sander, but after scrubbing with sugar soap solution several times, rinsing and hoovering inch by inch to get up every scrap of dust or splinter of wood - I started painting. That was the easy part. The paint goes on beautifully, smooth, coverage is great, it's not smelly or sticky or messy - I did the whole floor with a 3 inch brush, just to make sure I got into all the gaps between boards. Left it over night and then did second coat. Brushes just rinsed out in water. So pleased with how it looks, under £30 and I've still got half a tin left - so enough to do my daughter's room as well. Time will tell how it wears, but once bed and furniture is in and I've got a rug for the middle of the room - there's not going to be much that's walked on anyway.

Goes on very easily and dries quickly, to a solid semi-matt finish. I love it!
In our house there is a utility room/workshop with a concrete floor.Having had a horrible experience with a polyurethane floor paint that had dangerously high VOC levels, took forever to dry and did not dry to a good finish, I decided to go for something water-based. I'm glad I chose this paint.I applied it directly to the (old but thoroughly cleaned) concrete surface using a chunky 5-inch paintbrush. It goes on very easily and gives a very satisfying, solid-looking colour from the get-go. As it started to dry, it did begin to look rather mottled and patchy - I could tell which were the areas I had attempted to paint with the awful spirit-based stuff - but once the new paint had dried (and it did so in well under 2 hours), the result was exactly as you can see in my photograph: a solid, unified block of colour in a semi-matt finish that tends to disguise surface imperfections. My concrete floor is old and by no means smooth - it has numerous pits and worn areas, and this paint really does a good job of minimising the visual effect of that.Coverage: The area I had to paint was approx 6m2. Because of the imperfections in the floor surface, I laid the paint on pretty thick and took a lot of care to "scrub it in" to the rougher areas. This probably explains why, at the end of the job, I found I had used up just under half of the 2.5L tin. I'm not complaining, though. No doubt a person using a roller, on a smoother concrete surface, would achieve better coverage than me, but I've still got over half a tin left, should I find it needs a 2nd coat or a re-touch over time.ADDEDLATER: The next day I added a light 2nd coat for good measure. Once that was dry, I re-installed my washing machine and tumble dryer into the room - a process which involved a deal of dragging stuff across the painted floor surface. The floor sustained no damage or marks from doing this. I was impressed.Only time will tell just how hard-wearing this paint is in the long term, but right now it looks excellent and I am well pleased. :)
