Okay, so some reviews are not helpful as far as sizing. Here is my review and I hope it helps. I got a small, which fit my 4 year old that weighs 58 lbs and is 44" tall. He is in clothes 7/8 for t shirts and pants/shorts. He wears boxer briefs that are medium (8) in boys. These fit right one, true to size, if I went with medium it would have fit too and with the belt on it would be good, however it would have been longer but it has elastic at the bottom so it would be no big deal, as it can be tucked into the socks. The waist is at an 8, no bigger, no room for what a size 8 is in boys in most clothes. So he will use these once this season and then outgrow them which is fine. The material is thin, but I like it because it will be cool since it is black. This is for tee ball so no sliding and I do not know how they will hold up as far as sliding if I buy these again for baseball when he is older. I like the thicker waistband and the belt loops too. I bought two, and might return one and exchange it for a medium to try them out since I do have Prime. Take advantage of it Prime users, return things, you print a label if it does not meet expectations, Amazon is great with customer service. Anyways, I hope this helps.

I just bought these pants for my 6 year old son for baseball. He’s tall and skinny. Purchased size youth X-small. Fits him perfectly in the waist. Pants are short but I prefer them short so he can wear his long black socks underneath and then hike up the pants a little. They are very lightweight I didn’t think they were see thru at all from what the other reviews said. Easy to wash and clean. Overall I think they are great baseball pants!

I bought this for my son who started to play T-Ball this year. He is 5.5 yrs old but is on the short side and also very lean. I was able to cinch up the pants with the drawstring and it wasn't baggy at all. Good fit. The material is pretty durable and haven't much to complain for the price. Yes, it is see through but I had my son wear white briefs under and ta dah- problem solved. Other than that minor flaw, washing was easy. Grass and dirt stains came right out with some Shout out and I hung it up to air dry. Fits the budget and does it job. Would purchase the next size when my son plays again.

These pants are great. A lot of pull up pants don't have the belt loops so they won't work for little league but these do. The medium worked for my son who is almost 8, 4'3 and 75 lbs. He won't be able to wear them next year though, but he's a big kid so I'd say there are very true to size. Good material, seem to be durable and good price. I like that my son can get them on himself as usually button pants are kind of tight and hard to get on.

Easton is a fantastic baseball brand with quality items that stand the test of the season. The price was very low for two pairs of Eastom pants. They fit as expected, sizes are spot on. My son slides constantly into each base and these don't fade or tear and they are easy to wash. The butt is see through so don't wear pink undies in front of the guys. Will buy again season after season. Product arrived very quickly and was notified by shipper instantly for delivery details. Don't buy pants anywhere else, but right here.

I bought these for my son. He wanted to dress up as a baseball player this year for Halloween. I knew he would be playing baseball next year so I bought them a size larger. They were defiantly to big for him this year. He liked them and he wore them. They are a true baseball pant from the material to the waist band and elastic ankles.

Bought an XS. Waist is fine but they are way too long on my 5.5 year old. He has an 18" inseam, which these pants have, but they are cut so low in the crotch that we had to pull them up near his chest to get the legs to fit right. Subtract at least 2-3 inches off your child's inseam if you want them to hit low at the shoes. Even more if you want them to fit like tradition baseball pants. Quality is fine so I'm leaving 3 stars.
