Battery is excellent match but tools not suitable for I-Pad cover removal.

The only negative thing about my experience was how difficult it was to remove the casing off my Tab 2 7.0. The product was as described with all the little tools and it helps to watch the Youtube video so you don't snap any of the plastic brackets. I do recommend wearing static free rubber gloves or work on a mat as there seemed to be a lot of hand slippage when removing the panel.

Battery replacement went smoothly once the cover was off. It is not readily apparent how the connector clip separates from the base. Watch online videos...it basically lifts out and the new one snaps in place. Removing the back cover, even with the tool they provide, is unnecessarily difficult when you consider how easy a phone's cover removes. Again, watch the videos, and maybe wear a glove on the hand holding the tablet to avoid slicing your finger like I did when the tool slipped.

The battery works fine and I was pleased with the tools that were sent to open the tablet up to replace the battery, I would post a vid but it was a task getting the tablet open (it took me almost an hour ,lol) but the life of the battery is awesome!

i TRIED TO CHANGE THE BATTERY AS INDICATED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. i EVEN WATCHED A VIDEO ON U TUBE SEVERAL TIMES. i SUCCESSFULLY CRACKED THE GLASS WITHOUT IT OPENING IT EVEN A LITTLE. I GENUINELY BELIEVE SAMSUNG MADE THEIR TABLET SO THAT IT COULD ONLY BE FACTORY SERVICED ONLY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT. WHILE THE BATTERY IT MAY BE A GOOD PRODUCT IN ITSELF; THE DEVICE CANNOT BE EASILY SERVICED THANKS TO THE MANUFACTURER. i HAVE OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A TECHNICIAN. i WILL NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT EITHER.

Installed it worked for a couple days then then battery would die off fast again also don't reconize the right voltage. If I plug in regular samsung charger it won't work or take a charge.. But if I plug in a off brand charger I still get a red x and slowly charges or it won't charge I have to power it off fo3 it to charge even then it will say 100% charged turn it on it will display 65% etc charged so again I have to power it off to charge battery. I tried a friends battery and tried charging it and it worked just fine. We tried this battery in his tablet and got same result I did when it was in my tablet. So that tells me its gotta be the battery and not my charging port.
