High capacity base coat blaster!
I enjoy airbrush painting 3D prints and resin castings of varying sizes, though I really don't get into miniature sized objects.Often, I paint a fairly large print or casting, and using an airbrush with a 0.2 or 0.3 mm needle/nozzle can take a while. I've got an airbrush with a 0.5 mm needle/nozzle and that works fairly well. Just before I got this Sparmax, I got a Timbertech airbrush with a 0.8 mm needle/nozzle and that airbrush can easily coat a large object quicky and easily. But, I constantly have to top off it's cup.I have a Sparmax S76 that I use for detail work, so when I came across this, I had to try it. As summarized in the review, this airbrush is a high capacity base coat blaster for me. I can coat numerous large objects with this airbrush (I don't even use the fan cap tip!) and still have plenty of paint left in the cup!My S76 is a really nice quality airbrush, and I gratefully note that this airbrush is just as good. Function, fit and finish are top notch. One thing I do with every airbrush I get is I'll partially dismantle it to not only see how well the components are machined, but how much care was taken to assemble the airbrush at the factory. This airbrush was also properly assembled from the factory. Nothing was loose, nor was anything excessively tight. It's the dead of winter where I live at the time of writing, so I haven't used this airbrush much. But, every time I've used it, I've had zero issues with paint flow ( I use water based acrylics, often with a polyurethane additive mixed in), and it's been easy to clean the airbrush, though if I overfill the cup, that can make it a bit more time consuming to clean compared the small stainless steel cups commonly found in gravity feed airbrushes.I'm really happy with this airbrush, and I'd gladly recommend Sparmax's line of airbrushes to anyone.

Fantastic for detail work
I'm very much a noob at spraying. I have a few systems everything from a really cheap airbrush to a decent economy self-contained HVLP sprayer and a couple HVLP gun for compressors. I have been able to get decent results for larger areas but I was looking for something *with little overspray* for detail work. Things like trim within a room or just smaller projects. I don't want to have mask off the entire room to do this touch up.Everything I had was just the wrong size. Everything except the airbrush spewed paint all over. The airbrush sprayed so little paint (diluted house paint) that it took an hour to spray the front on a fairly small cabinet - and just the frames, I took off the doors and sprayed them with an HVLP system. And the coverage wasn't great. So I was looking for something between the airbrush and even a mini HVLP gun. I finally found this - and am SOOOOOOO glad I did. It has a beautiful spray pattern - tons of atomization and is nice and even. I have used the fan nozzle, but might try the circle next time. It took practically no time to (maybe 5 minutes) to do a second coat on that cabinet face. And it looks like it was done by someone who actually knew what they were doing! Quite a change!I started with my small 1 gallon pancake compressor on some slightly larger pieces and it worked great. Then I decided to try my super-cheapo airbrush compressor (1/6Hp, no tank) and it still worked great! This is going to save me so much time doing touch up in my rentals and around my house. I need to see if it will also spray lacquers and stains for my woodworking projects, but I don't see why it wouldn't.I expect I will be reaching for this little beauty for most of my painting needs (everything except large areas like walls and doors) from now on. This, coupled with a little paintbrush compressor is so portable and simple to use and clean up.Just wish I had found it years ago.

Spray Gun Airbrush
I don't recommend this for people spraying colored cocobutter in chocolate molds. I returned it because it kept getting clogged. It has a .5mm Nozzle, you really need .7mm Nozzle.
