Versatile guitar esepcially at the price
I have not been playing very long but picked up one of these on sale and say for what I paid I am very happy with it, it is well built, looks great and sounds good too. Like I said I am just beginning playing guitar and I have several others I have purchased for far more money and this one is just a really nice add and has a unique sound, I cannot compare to similar types from other brands but I can say for a beginner and I would think intermediate player this is an excellent buy, has a nice jazzy sound if you set your amp right and this thing can absolutely do AC/DC when you want to rock it out - it is just great versatility for someone just starting out, the only drawback is mainly the style, if your just starting it is larger than say a strat clone but on the same note it is about the size of a Les Paul close and weighs far less - if you can get one of these at a decent price, don't hesitate - just do it.

Amended review, still ongoing
I just brought the courier delivered guitar into my home. I see two pieces of cellophane tape used to seal the box top to the bottom and both are broken, fractured, severed etc. In other words, the top half of the box was just lying over the bottom half. Considering this guitar and box are MIC.... It appears OK. Time to plug it in. Whoa! The 3 way pickup switch is shorted right out of the box. I'm leaving town today, but I'll be back...I'm back. The moveable bridge was off low E to high E. It needs to be moved approx. 1/8". Fri. Oct 5 today. Here is an amendment: approx. 2 days ago, I took it to a luthier. He called last night and said the neck was twisted. Amazon wouldn't honor lifetime warranty, but STAGG sent a (no cost to me) UPS pickup tag so they can examine the git. Stagg said they wanted to see if they could repair it. STAGG replaced the A-300 FREE including return shipping. Today is 16 July, 2020 and It's been hanging for about 6 months now. I will try this replacement guitar soon. In this case, Amazon would not handle warranty on a lifetime warranty utility item sold by them.

Neck crooked, not playable
So now I have to take ti to the nearest ups, pay for shipping and hope that it makes it to the facility or else I dont get my money back.Cosmetically the guitar is great, however the neck is so out of alignment the high E string is floating over the edge of the neck while the low E string is far from the edge of the neck.Guitar is not playable, looks great but completely useful.

and it sounds and plays great. It looks way better than the picture
I've seen the price jump around quite a bit for some reason, but when I bought mine it was in the mid $300.00s, it arrived promptly, and it sounds and plays great. It looks way better than the picture, too. The reason it only has one of the "Strap thingies" is because it's a replica of a body style where the body only had one strap button or end pin and the other end of the strap had a leather piece that tied around the neck of the guitar. Check out a pic of Elvis or Eddie Cochran or James Burton or someone from back in the day and you'll see what I mean. Not sure how good that is for the neck. I just took the button off an old guitar and placed it on the body. I think pretty much any guitar shop has a a drawer full of miscellaneous buttons. In conclusion, good price, happy with the product.

Beautiful Guitar! Great Deal for the Buck!
I have been playing this guitar for a month. I received it perfectly packaged with no damages or loose parts. The construction is flawless. I bought the white one, and is really a beautiful guitar. Great sound and tones, whether played plugged or unplugged. IMO, probably one of the best deals for the money if you are looking for a hollow body to play jazz or blues.

My friend you have a floating bridge. All you need to do is loose the strings a hair and move the bridge over until it's centered.
