Sony NWZ-WH505 MP3 Player (16GB) - Black

I've had this item for a few months now and it's still going strong. I originally bought it because I needed some gym headphones that don't need to be linked to a cellphone or any other device to work. I don't like wires because they always get in the way and I don't like having my cellphone while working out. This item is perfect. Sound quality is great and putting music on it is very easy. You can even create different playlists on it. As some people have already stated, the external speakers aren't that great...but that's not why you would buy these headphones. I just look at those speakers as an added bonus. Again, if you don't want the wires and you don't want to have to sync to a cell phone these headphones are perfect.So just like another reviewer my headphones died too out of the blue 😣😣😣. Not sure I'm gonna drop another $200 for something that may die for no reason down the road.

Great quality. Sounds awesome. Fits comfortably. They fit on ear (I wish they had an over-ear option). Nice to not have to use the battery on my phone or the data on my phone. Load music onto the built-in mp3 player and enjoy.

Great product.Even though, mp3 headsets are not yet so popular, this new release by Sony got my attention.Sound quality is excellent, battery live is up to 10 hours.But the most beneficial feature is the headset is the integrated mp3 itself. Once you no longer need to carry a cellphone or mp3 player with you, you'll see how good it feels to just be wearing a headset.Only point down in my opinion is the overall size of and weight. Most high end headsets are narrow and lighter.

Very happy that I don't have to have wires, or a phone in my pocket. Sound is very good!!! Stores hours of my mp3 music : )

My husband uses these at the gym. They can be a bit glitchy to turn on, but overall they worked well...until a few days ago when the battery died and couldn't be charged. We've only had them for 8 months. It's hard to find headphones with a built in MP3 player, but I'm not sure it's worth it to buy another pair of these if they only last 8 months. That's pretty expensive.

The headphone have a few software glitches, trying to work with it since the sound quality is soooooo awesome. The headphones are very soft to the ear, comfortable and blocks out outside side. However, I haven't been able to get it to charge fully yet, and have had several problems with the software playing the music. The headphones were a gift to my husband who is not computer literate and is losing his patience. I may have to sent it back until later versions have been perfected if it continues to stop playing and battery not charging fully -- causes play time to shorten.

These headphones sound great...as long as they're working. I've had them for 18 months, only using them during workouts Monday-Friday. I turned them on today, and they were dead. I thought it was the battery, so I plugged them up...still nothing. No abuse...no warning...just dead with no apparent cause.
