I am a recovering road warrior, but still travel a bunch, and my wife is also a road warrior. We were looking for a charger to replace our laptop charger, phone charger and other device chargers, ALL IN ONE.For those who are not familiar with Gallium Nitride charger, they are different than traditional silicon charger, because they run less hot, and therefore come in smaller packages. Note that as a 60W charger, this charger can fast charge iPads/iPhones/Android Phones. Small and charges fast. MacBook pros and iPads. It gets the iPhone up to 60 percent in like 20 minutes. I had to get a second one.

The PowerPort Atom III Power Adaptor (60W Power Delivery Fast Charger with USB-C) is a solid product. At about the size of my 30W Apple-branded MacBook Air charger, this charger is just as portable and provides more power when you need it.After about 6 months of trouble-free use, it started to misbehave and fail to charge any devices, even when using different cables. This is the first time I've had an Anker product fail in the first 2 years. I was able to reach out to the service department easily, and the warranty on the product allowed for rapid replacement of the product. The replacement product continues to work flawlessly.This technology, as with all technology, can potentially have failures. The speed and effectiveness (and post-replacement follow-up) by Anker was impressive.I recommend this product for both the usefulness of the product, and the company behind it.

The cable from my Apple MagSafe2 power adaptor started fraying. The 2016 and beyond MacBook Pro along with the 2018 and beyond MacBook Air charge via USB-C. Apple provides a USB-C charger with a detachable cable that can be replaced when it goes bad. Why should I miss out on on the action when the MagSafe2 mechanism is superior from a safety standpoint.I purchased the Anker 60W Atom III USB-C charger in white along with a USB-C to MagSafe2 cable to use with my 2014 MacBook Air. I have been using it for about a week now and all appears to be great. The Atom III charges and powers my MacBook Air while maintaining minimal heat. The Anker is TUV certified and is double insulated as required for two pronged electrical equipment. This ensures the safety of you and your attached equipment. The circuit appears to have adequate filtration and does not introduce noise (ie. The trackpad works perfectly fine when the MacBook Air is attached to the Atom III).Now when the MagSafe2 cable frays I don’t have to buy a whole new charger for $80 plus. I can now simply replace just the cable as it should be. I very much like the Anker PowerPort Atom III 60W Charger.

This is so far the best charger I’ve bought, the built quality is excellent so is the performance. I bought it to charge my Goal Zero Sherpa 100 ac and works great (I also bought the USB C to USB C from Anker)I have nothing negative or bad to say about this charger, it does what is supposed to, delivers 60W with no problem, thanks to the the Gallium you can have a powerful charger 30% smallerI’ve been using it for months and not complaints at all!

I bought this for my MBP15 inch and planned overseas travel. It is really nice and seems to provide in my tests 50+ W for my MBP. This is measured by loading my MBP and watching reported power loads in iStat Menus. Not sure how good those values are, but good enough for travel.I would love to give this 5 stars in all categories, but weirdly, charger clearly intended for travel comes only with permanently built in US power plug. No easy way to swap the plugs with other types. At least European plugs should be included or available for sale. So this really amazing little charger requires me to carry around yet another conversion plug with weight and added flimsiness.Come on Anker, what about to make this in world-wide version for real traveller?Comment after the trip: Trip went really well, charger performed. But there is one minor trouble with this charger - when being plugged in 220V power, charger throws a spark between outlet and plug pins. Does not seem to cause problems to charger itself, I preferably did not have anything connected to it at that time. But seems that the draw when plugged in is too high on 220V in Europe and it creates this unpleasant behavior. Does not happen here in the US on 110V mains. As I said, it works really well after that.
