Family of (25) African Cichlids 1.25" Live Tropical Fish Assorted Mbuna Cichlid

The fish arrived today (8/4) only 5 days after placing the order on 7/30 and 2 days before the expected shipping window began (8/6 - 8/10). I read many reviews about the seller sending a few extra to cover any that might expire during delivery. We ordered 25 and couldn't believe they sent 33, with only one DOA, so they ended up pricing about $3 each. Great color variety and good size for restocking our 75 gallon tank.Acclimated with lights off, temp near 80°F, and lots of aeration as you can see from the photos. Once temperature was matched, I tribbled a few ounces tank water into the bag about every 15 minutes from several inches above the water level to add some oxygen, which livened the fish right up. Once I had about 50/50 old-new water, I scooped the fish from the bag and disposing of the travel water.I live in Louisiana and the delivery trucks here can get warm, especially compared to a fish tank. I recomend considering that while you're acclimating. Since we keep our tanks on the warmer end, they didn't have a huge water temp differential to add additional stress. 7 hours later, there are a few showing mild signs of stress still so we may lose them in the night but overall, very pleased. I am a little surprised at the fun damage, but nothing severe enough that won't grow back. This was our first time ordering live fish for delivery. I would definitely recommend this company and order more from them in the future. We are very pleased!

When I opened the box 12 of the fish were already dead, the bag had very little water in it, by the next morning more fish had died, the seller was responsive at first, but then communication faded and their is no way to contact them that seemed to work other than thru Amazon. They responded to my messages and sent another batch of fish, 17 days later. this box had 6 dead fish. At this point, out of 60 fish, only 6 fish are alive. So I paid $100 for 6 little fish. My aquarium is very healthy and test good in every way.

Hi I Have cichlids for years. I have a Black Convict and a jack demspey that are 15 years old.I bought this batch and I very happy. Great, clean ( not sick) healthy fish. Variety of colors and types of fish. A couple died over the week sadly, ( First 2 days) , but that was to be expected when you purchase over 25 fish. A weeek has past and they are doing really well.I live In NY and it was packed in a great package with a heat pad delivered fast in January.My wife and kids love them which any dad would be happy about. I believe the price beats Petco and those kind of stores.

The media could not be loaded. Buyer be aware. These are young fish. Quarantine and treat for Ick and Velvet. Arrived looking great and lively but all but 3 died over the next week including my original 3 big ones. Pretreat new fish before introducing to your tank.

There were two different options with a $5 difference each. Assuming the price was just regarding the shipping time, I ordered one of each. Both boxes arrived 5 days after I placed the order, I ordered on a Thursday so the weekend is included in that 5 days. One package was 30 extra small mbunas, about 1" or smaller, and the other was 30 small to medium-small fish, between 1.75" to 2.5" cichlids. The box 30 extra small had 30 living, and healthy little fish. The other box with the larger fish had 4 dead and one soon to die, but still 25 living and healthy fish.As it's a super hot time of year, I made sure I was available to go home when the packages arrived. I immediately checked the fish in the bags (inside the insulated boxes) then placed the bags in my 105 gallon tank which was empty, but had been cycling water for nearly 2 months in preparation. After 30 minutes, I opened one bag and began to douse the bag water with aquarium water, then after 10-15 minutes, I transferred the fish from the bag water to a bucket with only aquarium water then gently dumped the bucket into the tank. Repeated the process with the other bag. 48 hours later, all 55 fish are happily taking over their new home.I wasn't sure how successful the process of Amazon Prime fish buying would be, but it's been an easy and successful process for me. Although I haven't needed to contact the seller, based on the service I've received and the many other comments, I'm sure they would be as helpful as possible if I did/do need to contact them.I wish I had more 100+ gallon tanks to fill with their fish!At less than $4/per fish, this was a great way to populate my new 105 gallon cichlid tank!

The fish arrived exactly on the day they said they would. I got the 25 pack, which included 5 yellow, 5 orange, 5 albino, 5 auratus and 5 grayish blue ones. All of the fish look very healthy except the grayish blue ones. They all looked a little rough, and one was covered in white spots before I even removed him from the bag. All of them arrived alive and are still alive (it’s only been 3 days) They are all eating and swimming around normally. Overall, I would order from them again. I wished there was a little more variety in coloration and those bluish grays looked a bit better but other than that I’m very pleased.

Fish arrived “healthy” but don’t be fooled! The fish have ich.Upon arrival, all 25 fish arrived alive and active. Within an hour, a yellow and a blue Cichlid were being lethargic. The yellow one was already turning over. I let the fish acclimate to the water temp for a couple of hours before releasing them from the bag. Day 2, about four fish died. Day 3, three more have now died and now started ich treatment. Day 4, four more have died. I expect the rest will die soon. They all are cover with white spots. I’m hoping some stay alive so this wasn’t a total waste of money.

I wasn’t sure about ordering live fish online but read the reviews and decided to try it!!! Glad that I did. Fish arrived and all was alive. Did lose one the following day but not complaining. That’s probably because they was packaged in a small bag and box. Really good variety and color combinations of fish. I’m definitely will be ordering from them again!!!
