Love my printer, so far so good
I have had this printer since the pandemic, Fall 2020, almost 2 years and so far really happy with it. It was easy for me to set up on the Mac. We have an ethernet cable plugged into the wifi box and that makes it wireless for the studio. The print quality is great and it works consistently for us for what we do (printing out drafts of photo books). One drawback it has though, it's speed, a 300 page book takes hours to print. It's slow. But then again, the convenience of having this done in-house weighs out having to go to the copy shop to print drafts, which we have done previously. So far nothing else to complain. I have it on a cool looking dolly with rolls, rolling it in and out from under a desk, it's huge but so is the capability to print 11x17 pages.

Old tech or just bad tech if you ask me
Old tech or just bad tech if you ask me. This replaced, believe it or not, an HP4050 that we had for over 20 years! It finally failed and we thought we would getting something better but this printer is certainly not it. First off, it weighs a thousand pounds - huge and wont fit well on a normal desk. Next, it takes FOREVER to get itself configured. You literally have to sit for a half hour for it to get ready. Then, you go through a wait just to print and it takes the paper halfway through and stops AGAIN. Please, the old 4050 would have printed out a book in that amount of time. All these new HPs go through the same dance. Printing takes forever. And then, the paper is always fed in landscape making it a whole new issue for staff trying to get something to print correctly. And you CANT change it! And the printer driver is old fashioned. Even our Dells are better - freakin Dell! And the web interface is a joke. And there was no Windows 10 drivers. And the duplex unit DOESNT WORK - it jams every time! And just about everything else on this POS is aggravating. I suppose they make it 90 lbs to discourage you from returning it - but I would rent a forklift to get rid of this over-sized paper weight. Buyer beware

Ledger Printer
Update after years of use: HP needs to update the drivers and have a real wireless option. If you don't need 11 x 17, I'm sure you can find a printer where the company actually supports the product. We have found a couple of people at HP who know what to do but most have no knowledge of the product. HP, you can do better!Love its ability to print duplex color up to 12 x 18, I believe. I'm holding back one star as it is not wireless. You can plug it into your router or network but that is an increasingly old school way of doing things. The printer itself is built like a truck, a hard plastic one but a durable one it seems.Update: With the Window 11 update, the Jet Direct I used to print with this stopped working. HP doesn't support a fix. Also, the double sided printing went away. I've had this one year and HP barely supports it despite a warranty. Given this is an old printer, be careful as HP isn't really a reliable partner on this.

HP Color LaserJet Professional CP5225dn Printer Performs Great!
My company has been using a big corporate color copier on lease with the full finishing attachment and it was great while it lasted! But, unfortunately due to the economy, we have terminated the lease and moved on to printing more economically.Enter the HP Color LaserJet Professional CP5225dn Printer. This printer does not have all the bells and whistles of a fully automated color copier, but it does print a great tabloid (11" x 17") sized paper with automatic duplexing. Thus, we are not hindered by the lack of Finisher but are realizing the economic saving of not paying a monthly lease. We print our newsletters and flyer for direct mailing, utilizing the duplex tabloid printing with great color. Yes, we fold and staple by hand, but it is a minor inconvenience to the personnel.I would recommend to everyone that if you want a simple duplex + letter or tabloid printing + great color + color laser resolution, then this printer is for you!!!! CYuen.

Terrible connectivity for this printer, decent quality prints
Terrible service from vendor, printer was less than advertised, NOT WiFi or Bluetooth (which should have been way clearer).

Works great, bit spendy
This is a great color laser jet print for a small office environment. I ordered this to replace an aging wide format HP BusinessJet inket printer which was having jaming issues. We have had no problems with this printer since it arrived. The version printer of the printer that I ordered only has a single paper tray (aside form the manual feed tray) which will fit multiple sizes up to 11"x17". The original plan was to use the internal tray for 11x17 and use the manual feed to hold a stack of 8.5x11. After a few days it was clear that a second tray would be a wzie investment so that the manual feed tray was not open all of the time.Pros: Workhorse, Dependable, HP business class reliability (don't confuse with consumer class reliability).Cons: Size (its big), Price (kinda high, especially after adding the second tray).

Laserjet CP5225dn
I was worried when after I ordered it I went to the website and it referred to a 42" working dimension. I thought I had bought a monster of a printer but I realized when I got it that the 42" was referring to the tray being opened and someone loading paper. The actual dimensions after you load the paper are under 24" square. This is not the vendor's fault they did their job well. The printer seems to be working fine. I did notice that one computer that was running Vista Ultimate seemed to print Adobe files that had colored images even though I designated the printout to be black and white. Printing from Word with colored words, for example, would print out in Black and White.

This was dead on arrival.
Other than the fact it is extremely heavy, this one could not print. Every attempt was a paper jam. Yes, the paper was seated properly. Just a dud, didn't bother getting another like it. Opted for a plotter, HP T630, for less $.
