Perfect! I had spare 128GB Samsung mSATA drive that I re-purposed for use in an HTPC. It has worked without a hitch so I just purchased another one to use a little 32GB mSATA drive in my "Linux" laptop. As a side note, the screws that are used to hold the case on are tiny and the plastic is very soft. Don't plan on removing the case much once it's already on. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind. There might be others out there with metal frames vs the plastic case (leaving the mSATA drives exposed) you may consider if you plan on swapping the drives. These are best to install the drive and leave it alone.

Worked perfectly for an old m-sata SSD drive I had
This brought back new life to an old laptop I was installing Lubuntu on...I had a 256GB M-Sata SSD that I was not using, I put it in this case and placed it in my old laptop.Overall quality is good, it's not super heavy duty, and the case was all black (no sticker), but it works perfectly. Mounting holes just like a normal 2.5" HDD.

Simple and easy to use
it worked perfectly on three drives I tested it on. It is very basic and it feels a little cheap but it a good value.

mSATA, meet your mother
Yep, it works as described! In all honesty I've used it twice & then realized my mSATA drive was too small to make a difference. Until I load up Linux or something it'll sit in the drawer with all the other crazy adapters & test equipment.

Works great so far. For the price I can't complain.
Works great so far. For the price I can't complain.Pros: Easy to open and install msata ssd. It also came with appropriate screws. Very light and fits well.Cons: A little bit thin and flimsy (not a big deal as it going to be inside the laptop).

Who needs this, right?
If you happen to have a spare mini pcie msata drive laying in your junk drawer (that you paid a gob of money for back in the day) and the computer it was removed from is now long gone, then you might need this. Why not repurpose an older 64GB or 128GB msata drive into a cache drive for a slower mechanical drive, or create a short term storage device? Not everyone needs one of these but if you do, this is a very handy part.
