Great float, great price!
Perfect float for our 4 month old, he is about 16 lbs and this was exellent for his first time in the pool. The leg holes are smooth so they do not cut into their legs or leave marks. Inflated easily and provided exellent support and stability for him. He was so comfy in it that he actually fell asleep while floating around. We also had a very high energy 5 year old and 14 year old diving in the pool and even with the waves created this float was very sturdy and did not cause fear that it was going to tip over easily. Definitely pleased with the purchase and the price. The cover attaches on the front of the float with Velcro and worked well to provide shade and easily lifted back to make getting baby in and out a breeze.

Safe, fun, and inexpensive pool toy for babies 6-18 months.
Super inexpensive way to keep a little baby entertained while on vacation. The item shipped quickly and was in good condition when it arrived. Very simple to inflate--takes a little lung power, but after a few minutes you will be there. The "roof part" of the kiddie float has two velcro attachments on the front parts, so that you can move the "roof" out of the way to stick baby into the float, then reattach the velcro and baby is on his or her way. The baby may figure out how to play with the velcro, and pull it apart again, but that is not really a bother, just an additional fun thing for the baby to manipulate. The baby's legs fit through two leg holes in the bottom of the float, and off they go. We used ours in a large pool and it kept the baby partially shaded (note that the baby's arms and face will not always be in the shadow, it really depends upon the angle of the sun and the size of the baby.) Baby's bottom is well into the float and we had no worries that the baby would climb out. The little roller with the three colored balls in it was fairly useless for our baby, he was not too into it. But overall, for the price, a really simple and easy way to keep your baby safe and partially shaded in the water. I probaby wouldn't use it for too tiny of a baby, or too large of a baby, since a small baby may not fit too well, and a larger baby may be able to start to pull themselves out, but I assume that around 6-18 months babies of average size will be a good bet. You could probably go all the way to 2 years with this.

Lovin it!
I ordered this float because the price was much lower than the rest. I haven't used it yet and will update this weekend after we hit up the pool. It's made outta the typical float plastic, nice and thick. I love the bright yellow. It blows up really easy and was assemble in ten minutes. My daughter is 11 months and around 20 lbs. another nice feature on this float is the velcro that allow the top to be taken off and the little can see more of what's around. I'm sure there is a weight limit on this float so please check before putting a child in. There is no way my daughter and get out of this float or tip it over so if your child can, just get another float! For the price it's definitely worth a try and I'll update with how it did in the pool in a week.

Good float with some flaws. The sun shade leans to one side.
I really like this float but it does have some flaws. I love the sun shade but for reason, mine leans to one side. I've tried to deflate it and fill it up again but nothing works. I guess it's just defective maybe? The other thing is the rattle in the front. My babe loves it but just like any other kid, she tried to bite it which if she were to make a hole in it, the entire float would deflate since it doesn't have its own chamber. We've been sitting our daughter backwards so she doesn't mess with it but it can cause some fuss since kids to like the rattle a lot. Thus, parents and caregivers, just pay attention!

It floats
We originally bought this for our son and he absolutely loved it. The first floaty is living its best life somewhere in St Thomas , it was packed for a cruise, used it in the ship and later on the beach. Easy to blow up and easy to deflate. The canopy comes in handy as both my son and daughter hated wearing hats or sunglasses. It also has sensory toys in the front to keep the baby entertained while floating. The float is affordable and works for toddlers between 0 to 2 years of age . Our daughter recently outgrew it. Otherwise no complaints.

Good quality. No complaints. Worth the buy.
I sent this to our beach house out of state and crossed my fingers it would be decent quality to put our 6mo in. It was perfect! Blew up quick, no issues, put it right in the pool. Provided some good sun protection and gave our boy a fun toy to slobber on. Now, granted I'm not one who just let's my infant float around in a pool without an adult within inches, but I think he would have been fine independently for a few minutes. However, ours never had a hand off of him or the raft.

its ok
Love the intex brand but dont really like this one. My son is 7mo but is more the size of 12mo in size(he wears 12-18mo and in 97% of length for his age). He can float around in it fine but the little ball toy is right in his face when he leans forward. I usually just put him backwards in it. He leans and can splash his hands in the water. I would have to say go with something else and would not buy again. I gave it 3 stars because it works ok and maybe once he is bigger it will fit him better.

Fantastic
My 1 year old loves this float. She will even lounge in it on the ground if I sit it on the grass so she can play in the yard while I work in the garden. It keeps the sun off her. She did bite the toy, as others have warned, but has not seriously tried to bite through it. It's was more of a exploratory taste to see what it was. Otherwise, the toy has been completely ignored, and is just in the way of her face. This thing has done a great job of staying inflated for over a month now, without having to blow it back up once. The posts for the sunshade are sort of in the way sometimes, but it does give her something to rest her arm against. One thing that could be improved is the legholes are sharply cut and chafe a bit after being in there a while. Next time, I am going to put some shorts on my girl to give her skin some extra protection. Not that it caused a rash or anything, she just got antsy after a while.
