Lunatik LKBLK-011 Lynk Watch Wrist Strap for iPod Nano 6G - Black

I had originally purchased a LunaTik TikTok, but discovered that it was just too small for my wrist, and ended up returning it.I was apprehensive about spending even more for the Lynk, but figured that worst case, I'd be able to contact LunaTik and have them send / sell me some extra links. Lucky me, that wasn't necessary. The Lynk comes with four more links (which are quite a bit larger than typical watch links), and three did the trick.Just a note about sizing the band: instead of typical pins that you need a watchband link remover tool to push in and out, these pins are spring-loaded, so a paper clip or needle is really all you need.Sizing aside, the Lynk is gorgeous. On the outside, the lightweight metal has uniform gaps, and is so well finished, there's not the slightest bit of roughness on any of the edges. The two halves that hold the iPod come together in perfect alignment.The deploy clasp works perfectly, though has a slightly cheap feel to it. Inside, the Lynk band is cleverly rubberized, so even wearing it a bit loose, the rubberized interior keeps your iPod from hanging at the bottom of your wrist.All assembled, the Link looks fairly substantial, and probably isn't going to be comfortable if you have small wrists. In terms of weight, it's almost deceptively light -- lighter than most automatic watches with leather bands / not as heavy as a decent quality quartz watch with a bracelet.Since Amazon seems to be matching LunaTik's Dads & Grads sale, the price is almost as good as the quality and fit of the Lynk.

I wasn't sure how a watch based on an Apple IPod Nano would work out. Well, it worked out perfect. I wear it every day and get 5 or 6 positive comments a day, just, Wow, that's a cool watch". When I show them that it is a full function IPod, everyone is just floored. I show them pictures of my kids and wife, can play my digital music (of course), can hit FM radio.Its way cool. I love it and I get nothing except positive comments and ,"Where can I get one of those?"The LunaTik Lynk is super high quality. Its just a beautiful example of a modern, quality product. It was absolutely effortless to install the IPod (with the LunaTik provided tools that are packaged with the band) and adjust the band (with the LunaTiksupplied extra links).First, I can't say enough good about the company. The Lynk is a great product, perfect by my standards. But, the forethought that LunaTik put into having happy customers is so rare these days. Its good enough, most times, to have a number provided so you can call and get your answers.LunaTik packages everything so it arrives in perfect condition, without wasteful over-packaging. They include enough extra links for any size needed. They include two style of allen wrenches to make the install of the IPod literall a 2 minute job. I think I could do a second one in 30 seconds.Perfect... high quality, practical, useful, well packaged, arrived on time. It just couldn't be a better product from a better manufacturer and seller.

Overall a great product that wears well. However I had some problems adding links to the strap. A simple paper clip would do the job of changing the strap but it just wasn't handy and I wish the vendors would have included this cheap and simple tool in the kit. While adding the link, one of the pins broke. Definitely good that the seller had a spare pin included in the kit. But really, the pin breaking??Overall the strap width fits well on a guy's wrist. Not sure I would recommend this for a lady.

The item sent does not match the photo or description. My first thought was to immediately return the item. The tag on the box matches though. The item received is the watch band with rubber strap. Recommend Amazon checks the supplier for similar occurrences.

I really like the look of this band, unfortunately when I wear it it keeps coming undone at unexpected times making it really frustrating and hard to wear. Going to take it to a watch shop to see if there is a solution.

The item looks great but the pins in each link randomly pop out which makes the watch fall off so be careful so you don't lose your Nano. Should have made the pin recess deeper.

I know apple doesnt sell these nanos anymore which is a shame because I get complimented whenever I wear this watch (though i think you can still get them "refurbished" from the apple website or from craigslist. Its easily the best of its kind as my friends ask where they can get one and customer service was great as they quickly sent me extra screws after I broke the extra set from switching my nano from the watch to my armbanf for when I go for long runs.

Nicely machined, completely encloses the nano but ports are not obstructed. Link adjustments are unique and the most user friendly I have seem on a watch band.
