Works as described, no issues, great product.

Excellent tool for lifting off grill grates. I use on my Weber Gas Grill, Weber Kettle, PK, and Traeger. On my Gas and Charcoal grills I like to remove the grates after preheating and spray them with canola oil. I wear BBQ gauntlet gloves when doing so, which allows me to spray the grates without flame ups due to the propellant in the spray. Tool is very sturdy and the ergonomics provided by the large handle make removing, spraying, and replacing the grates easy. Well worth the money.

I've used 1,000 different grate removal tools, and this on has to be one of my favorites. Now, my only complaint is that it should really have a longer handle for removing the grade while i have the grill fired up. Other than that, works great for different types of grill grates and feels good in the hand, nice thick handle that's easy to hold onto.

....and found that it really isn't an issue. I sometimes have to swap grates around on my gas grill especially when I am trying to do a low and slow smoke. None of the regular grill utensils is suited to grab a grate firmly and securely, lift and move. This grate lifter does the trick. I experimented with a cold grill so I would know what to expect when dealing with "the heat".Cast iron grates are heavy, so choose your lift point well so that you have balance and control when you lift.

My husband loves this grate mover so much that he called me outside to try it!!! I rec'd big brownie points for this little gift! It is sturdy and built so the grill rack doesn't wobble as you move it. Good hand grip, too. AWESOME!

Picks up great with very good leverage, keeps your hand away from the hot grate.

Simple device that works just fine. I use it regularly to fuss with the center insert on my 22.5" Weber kettle, which a few of my more ambitious grilling events require.The handle is very short, so I highly recommend heat resistant gloves or say goodbye to the hair on your arms when using over a hot fire. :-)

This was not made specifically for my Dura-Glow grill but works great to lift and move the grates. I was just making do before, but now, no more worries about dropping a hot grate on the deck. Dead easy to use, and holds the grate solidly. Maybe could have had a longer handle, but that's a small nit to pick.
