No batteries with, but I didn't expect, you really don't need them- the lighting is a plus but the pillow alone is really soft & cute!

Having someone who's afraid of the dark sleep with one of these is way better than leaving the lights on. It's very adorable and soft, plus if you're the type of person who sleeps with one arm under a pillow this is perfect for that!Warning: be gentle with the button. If you're too rough with it the wire disconnects and the lights stop working.

I opened the shrink wrap before I gift-wrapped it for Christmas, knowing my niece would probably sleep with it. Just wanted to make sure it didn't smell all weird with chemicals. No smell. Apparently, it received rave reviews from her. She sleeps with it, lights on and it is one of the stuffed toys she carries everywhere. Making my littles happy is my absolute life goal, so what can be better than that. Great purchase, and thanks to other reviews and the low price I've purchased a backup for when Starry Star goes supernova.

Shipped very quickly. I think I received it the day after I ordered it. The main complaint I have is that it doesn’t automatically shut off after 30 minutes like the one my daughter had before. I bought this as a replacement and didn’t realize that it was not the exact same one she had. I’ll try to sneak in after she’s asleep and turn it off, otherwise I feel like it will use batteries too quickly.

I gave these ti my granddaughters, they love them. They don't need a night light, and can carry it all over the house to travel around at night and not bump into things, perfect! I would say nearly perfect, as one of them has a smalk short, and goes out on occasion. I bought rechargeable batteries, so when they forget to turn them off and are fund own, we always have more batteries for that one that ran down.

My daughter is in love with this star. She sleeps with it every night. They are very soft. However, they are very poorly made (I know because we have bought more than 6 of them :( ). The wiring is fragile, and the star eventually stops lighting up. Sometimes, they stop lighting up in a week. Sometimes, they last a few months. Frustrating! I would pay more for a product with better wiring. I just haven’t found anything similar with higher quality.
