Working well and looks good, be careful putting it together
Working well. The drawers and doors all operate smoothly and it looks pretty good for a cheap desk. Just be sure you know it's not white, it's an off-white. I knew this from other reviews and I like the look.Took quite some time to put together, maybe 5-6 hours, but the instructions were clear and all the pieces, including the over 300 hardware bits, were intact and unscratched. There were EXACTLY the needed number of each type of screw and bolt and whatnot, so keep careful track of them- it would probably help for Bush Industries to put in a few extra, just in case. The little tube of glue was useless, as the glue had either dried or was too thick to squeeze out, and you'll probably need more anyway, so get some carpenter's glue. There are a lot of steps and most need the previous steps done first, so, for those of you who are inclined to just wing it, I highly recommend you RTFM (read the f***in' manual). If I have one recommendation it would be to have a solid back to the lower half of the hutch. I'd like to mount a board for notes, pictures, etc. I'll get a board that is slightly bigger than the openings and cover them up.Other than that, highly recommended.

Better Assembly with 2 People
Love the desk, however the drawer is a little small. The cabinet is very spacious, and I have alot of stuff. The shelves for 12×12 folders, manilla folders & all. It's stands about 5'4ish. I recommend 2 or more people to assembly. It took us about 6 hours with a pizza break in between. It fits both of my monitors. I also put my small printer on top. It's great quality. The hutch is removable. It was just exhausting to assemble.

Nice desk for the money!
We have assembled several desks and bookcases made by Bush over the years and have not been disappointed. The quality is decent, considering you are paying less than $200,and it fits our purpose for a light duty kitchen desk. My husband was able to put this together in about 3 hours, with a little help from his handy helper (me). We didn't find any missing or damaged pieces. As other reviewers mentioned, it comes in a large, heavy box, so be prepared to either open the box and bring in the pieces separately or have another person help carry it to the assembly area. The color is a soft cream with a little bit of gray brushed over it to give it a wood grain appearance. The pull-out tray and tall storage cabinet are perfect for a computer tower and keyboard. I don't know how well it would stand up to rough treatment, but for 2 adults, I think it will last for years. Has a nice, neat appearance and we are very pleased with our purchase!

Great desk for elderly Mom!
Great value and easy to put together. It took 4 hrs to assemble. Instructions were spot on and everything was labeled perfectly. It is a beautiful addition to my Mom’s room at a long term care facility. She loves watching her iPad and eating her meals at it. We removed the keyboard tray and her wheel chair fits under the desk nicely. The storage is great as well.

Love this desk with Hutch !
Very happy with my purchase. Assembled by myself in about 4 hours . There are a lot of pieces and a huge amount of hardware but directions are easy to follow and all parts are marked and easy to identify. It’s a sturdy piece and definitely a great value for the money . Fits in the space I have perfectly.

Beautiful, but the shipping not so much
Ok. This desk matches perfectly with my mom's 40+ year old bedroom set. The set up was easy. I took my time and assembled it myself (took about 2½ hours). Didn't want to rush, as the major parts were damaged and I didn't want to cause any additional damage. The desk is sturdy and has weight to it, but it's not real wood (I'm ok with that)...Here is the issue... the major pieces of this desk were snapped almost in half. I believe it was a shipping issue, but still, the desk was very damaged. I'm a crafty person so I know how to "fix" things and that's what I did. I'll be heading to home depot or lowes this weekend to get a wood filler that matches to hide the remaining damage. I did send a message to the seller, no reply 😔Overall, I'm good with the desk, just wish it wasn't damaged upon delivery.Oh and get you some wood glue. The glue included with the hardware isn't enough for this project. My rating is mostly based on the damage of the desk.

Took time to assemble but it's not rocket science - be patient!
Aside from the fact that the price dropped literally the day my order arrived, it's a decent value for the money. But be advised. This is particle board and it's HEAVY! I am a 62-year-old woman and while I huffed and puffed a bit, I got it up three stairs and into the room where it was assembled. So this comes with 35 steps. The instructions are very clear and even though they offer a youtube video, I never had to look at it. But you must be patient. There are zillions of parts (mostly the hardware and hardware is your friend, it makes it sturdy). I took my time, and all in, it took me about 3 hours to assemble. The end result is visually pleasing, but I am worried about the fragility of the cosmetic finish over the particle board. I had one boo-boo where it chipped off and I had to carefully glue it back on. Just make sure you sink all your dowels fully. So it has predrilled holes and again, if you take your time, it doesn't take a rocket scientist.I made a choice and opted not to put the top layer of shelving on. You can do this, though you'll be left with a few holes on what becomes the top of the piece, but I don't think it takes away from the aesthetic and it made the thing a little less overwhelming in the spot I'd chosen for it.

Beautiful and sturdy. Well worth the price
This is by far one of the best Amazon purchases I have ever made. It did take me several hours to put this together, but I was doing it myself. The instructions were easy to follow, takes you one step at a time. The desk looks beautiful and was well worth $159. Desktop offers plenty of room for a large monitor (or all in one) with a lot of room left for writing etc. The drawer, CPU storage area, and hutch provides a large amount of storage space. Glad I finally made the decision to purchase this desk. I love it!
