I got this chair after looking at many others on Amazon. This chair had the least negative reviews and was a reasonable price. I personally use this chair in my smaller shower/ tub, and it really has helped me out. I suffer from severe exhaustion and it is hard sometimes to stand up long enough to take a shower. I hate baths so I needed a way to safely sit. This chair was the perfect answer. It’s small enough to fit in my smaller tub, but wide enough for me to sit on comfortably. I’m 125 lbs and the seat is a nice enough size for me, but I don’t see this chair being wide enough for a larger person to sit on and feel safely supported. I like the thin layer of padding on the seat. It’s nice not having to sit on bare plastic. This chair doesn’t have a shower wand holder, which would have been very nice, however, I am able to slot my shower wand into one of the hand holds on either side of the chair, so it works out. I do check the screws before I sit down on it, and need to occasionally tighten two of them. Other than that, the chair feel very sturdy and doesn’t wobble when I shift around while sitting on it. I’m very glad I got this chair. Showering is enjoyable again.

This is a great option for people with limited mobility due to injury! I fractured my foot and am not able to put any pressure on it. I roughed it for a couple weeks by showering infrequently, and just balancing on my good leg, but I wanted to be able to relax in the shower so I gave in and bought this chair. It was wonderful and I should’ve bought it sooner! It was very easy and quick to assemble. Lightweight enough that I was able to set it up myself. I have a standing shower and it fits with plenty of room. It wobbled once, but I was able to keep my balance with my good leg. That makes me think this may not be the best option for someone who may not be able to catch themselves in case of a little slip. Overall it was a great purchase!

This bath stool is easy to assemble, has adjustable legs and provides a comfortable, stable seat in a shower whether the user is recovering from surgery or other medical issues. 2 people in our family have used it: one who had foot surgery and one who had a cardiac episode and it worked great for both. The hand holds on either side don't get in the way like chair arms wouldn and allow the user to push up from the stool to a standing position which is really helpful. There is a mounting bracket which can be mounted on one of the legs to hold a back scrubber or a shower pouf with a loop. I would suggest that, if you utilize the bracket, it is best to mount it so that it sticks out under the sides rather than the front. The hand holds stick out over the sides and will keep the user from bumping or scraping themselves on the mounting bracket. The height of the stool worked great for both users and the non-slip feet make this stool feel like a safe option when getting into and out of the shower.

The quality of this chair is really nice and simple to assemble. However, I only gave it four stars because of two reasons.1. I returned the first one because the parts bag was missing. I liked the chair enough to order the same one again and the parts were in the box.2. There is a piece that fits on one of the legs (shown in the description on the ordering page), but it is not mentioned in the instructions and I am clueless as to what it is. I thought maybe for a cane, but too small.
