Great monitor for the money, slight glare issues
This monitor is, for the money, absolutely amazing. If you need a nice not too large screen with a great refresh rate, I'd go for it. The picture quality is great, although can be somewhat muted compared to the higher priced monitors. Again though, I'm reviewing it in comparison to the pricepoint, and it's hard to beat. The speakers are...well monitor speakers, they get the job done, but aren't what you want for a good gaming experience. That said, I don't know any gamers who go for monitor speakers as their main. They get the job done well if you're at a friends and forget your headset.Software is nice and configurable to make sure you're getting the image you'd like. Takes a little fiddling with nvidia control panel to make sure HDR is working properly, but once ya get it it's great.

Beautiful looking display with BAD back light bleed.
I was super excited to get the 27” 4k HDR 144hz Gsync XB273k Sbmiprzx monitor. The box and packaging are great, the look of the monitor itself is fantastic however, it has extremely bad light bleed in both top corners. There is light bleed in the bottom corners however I would say it’s somewhat acceptable. Having come from a PG279Q IPS panel with acceptable light bleed this XB273K is just unacceptable imo. Even turning the back light down to 80 nits, it’s still visible in games. One can almost get away with some light bleed on a black screen and when you’re playing a game it should be really hard to tell and I can safely say, it’s extremely noticeable in game. Not matter what settings I tired it was evidently there.Maybe I got a bad one? Either way I’m returning for a refund. I just can’t take another gamble on this monitor. Acer if you’re reading this, you should consider giving the backlight parts more room on the inside especially on the edges and just make the monitor deeper/thicker. You can still have a small bevel edge but imo, it seems like there is pressure on the corners, thus pressing against the screen causing the light to bleed through. It needs more space and I don’t think people would have an issue with a thicker display if it helped with the bleed through. Just my opinion. The monitor sitting on the desk does look beautiful though.

Great monitor after returning the first one
My first monitor had very bad backlight bleed from 3 of the 4 corners so I returned it. The next one was perfect. No bleed and an amazing picture. If you’re willing to play the return game for one without any backlight bleed, you’ll be rewarded with a great display.

Incredible performance. Beautiful picture.
This monitor is awesome. 144hz at UHD resolution. If you have a rig that can run that resolution at that frame rate this monitor is for you. Prior to this I had a 60hz monitor and the difference is night and day. I play a lot of competitive online games and I can 100% confirm: frames matter. After getting this monitor my game reached a whole new level. Overnight I was able to pull off tricks in-game that I thought I would never be able to do even after thousands of hours of experience. On top of all that, the picture quality is outstanding. The colors and nVidia GSync make my games more beautiful than I've ever seen them. Great purchase, would buy again.

Had to get it serviced
Had to send this monitor to be serviced because it would get lines in the display and turn off. Acer serviced it, but it was a pain to get this done because we don't live close to a fed ex facility. Also the monitor is an odd shape/ length and they might have a hard time finding a box for it.

Gorgeous monitor
I'm not going to discount the negative reviews, but Acer has either upped their QC or I hit the panel lottery.First off the back light bleed is almost non existent. That was a major sticking point for me as I'm coming from a monitor that only lights the sections of the panel you're actively using.Second is the picture. Just wow. Before this I was using a CRG9, and that panel was gorgeous as well. I had set my personal bar high though as it would have to be to move from 49" super ultrawide back down to 27". The only slight letdown is the HDR 400. It's still good, but not as good as my previous full HDR. You're not losing hardly anything there though compared to everything you're gaining in quality. There is a version of this with HDR 10, but you'll pay almost 1k more for it. The g sync ultimate is, as always, a nice feature if you have an Nvidia gpu. I've had zero screen tearing.Tl;DR A review from several months into 2020. Acer seems to have stepped up the panel game. Outstanding experience.

Low quality monitor at a premium price with horrible support
This monitor was 4 weeks of disappointment. On arrival there was yellow backlight leakage covering 5" in 2 of the 4 corners and 1/3 of the screen was more blue than the rest. I started an RMA to fin out that Acer expects the consumer to pay the $100 to ship there defective product for repair. After receiving the monitor back 2 weeks later I discovered that the lazy repair tech ran the monitor on test software and decided there was nothing wrong when the backlight and coloring issues were completly obvious and distracting. Instead of doing the right thing and replacing the screen, the lazy tech ran it on automated software and sent back without fixing it.For a $1200 27" monitor, you excpect that it will come working correctly and on the chance it doesn't, you expect they will do whatever they can to remedy the issue. They didn'tLesson learned, I will not buy an Acer product again. Bad quality control, back customer service, bad repair personnel.
