My 6 yr old daughter wore this through spring soccer season. She said the shinguards were comfortable and did not chafe, and the knee socks and guard covers went through multiple washes and are still holding up. I plan to reuse for fall season too, so pleased with my purchase. I would recommend!

Comfortable and easy to put on

I wish I knew these things existed years ago. My daughter is obsessed and so am I. She is so much mor comfortable wearing these than regular guards

I purchased these shin guard sleeves to function as sleeves for ice packs. They have an opening at the top for the guards and they are seen shut at the bottom of the pocket to keep the guards from sliding out. They work perfectly with smaller, flat, flexible ice packs that are about 4×7. With ice packs, these are perfect for icing tibial tendonitis or even shin splints to allow walking around with ice packs in place. The guards themselves seem quite sturdy and I would feel comfortable playing soccer in them. They seem better made, like they will hold together more after rigorous use than other less expensive shin guards. The plastic is thick and not as flexible as other cheap guards I own. The only disadvantage is that, like most less expensive guards, these are rather short. I am 5'4 and these barely cover the full length of my shins. I opt to position them about mid shin and in that spot they leave about 3 inches from my ankle down to the top of my foot and a couple of inches down from my knee uncovered. This is enough to cover the primary area intended for shin guards, but as I have not played competitive soccer since I was a teenager (over a decade ago) I am not sure whether these guards are short enough to leave enough area exposed to result in otherwise preventable injuries.

Bought these for my 5 year old for soccer - they are great. I love that they come apart so you can wash the covers. Easy to put on and take off. Daughter loves the pink color & the socks that came with! Good value for the price, works well for shin guard coverage.

Perfect for my 8yo daughter who plays Academy.

For starters, the design of the sleeves we got is different than what is shown in the photos- ours has just a pocket opening at the top of the sleeves, rather than the opening halfway down that holds it in place. So the shin guards eventually slip out during serious play. I try to fold down the top of my son’s sock to help cover the opening. But beyond that- they have been working ok.

Wish I would have found these sooner, especially for the games during hot months!! These are exactly what I was hoping for to avoid the thick socks when it's 90,+ degrees outside. My daughter wears her regular socks then slips these on her shins and pops the guards in and so much cooler and comfortable than thick, long, soccer socks. Wish they had a bit more elasticity as they slip down a little and we already have the smallest size but it's not something that bothers her that much. More colors would be great too!
