I have plenty of stainless cups and tumblers but I've never had a stainless mug. This is well-insulated but not heavy. The lid is thin and easy to remove - which concerned me at first, but it stays in place. It is the CUTEST (I got the cat pattern because I'm a crazy cat lady), and it works so well! The handle is very comfortable, too, which is another thing I wasn't sure about when I first ordered because it's kind of rectangular, and not curved like a traditional handle.I often make a cup of hot tea in the afternoons at work. Then a million things happen and when I get to drink it, it's cold. I usually have to reheat my tea in the microwave 3-4 times before I get to drink it all. With this mug, I can sip on my tea for a couple HOURS without it getting cold. It's insane how well it works! When I pour my tea and it gets busy, now I don't fret because I know it will be piping hot still whenever I get back to it, even if it's 30 minutes later. Also - I love that it has the travel lid because sometimes I get too delayed drinking it and then next thing I know it's 5pm, so I can just take it in the car with me if I don't finish it first.I also bought one of these mugs for my mom, who likes to have a mug of hot tea every evening while watching tv. However, she's quite the early bird and often falls asleep several times while watching her shows. So her tea has to go in the microwave multiple times usually. This mug has been perfect for her as well!This mug is SO worth the money. I'd honestly pay even more for it, that's how much I love it. I can't rave about it enough! Definitely go get one if you're thinking about it, you won't be disappointed.

Only marked down the leak proof because it is has open mouthed lid. If you knock it over, it will spill. Otherwise it's great!!I have always liked my metal water bottles from S'well so I went ahead and snagged this mug. It's more stable on my computer desk than any of my water bottles (some of which have been damaged and no longer stand without assistance). Its also easier to use at the dinner table for water in lieu of a bottle because it's takes up less space. I'm also less likely, again, to knock it over.Helps that this has a cute cat motif. I snagged the larger "travel" version as well and will review that later.

I love S'well products and have several bottles that I use all the time on the go.I couldn't resist this cute mug, and thought it was the perfect size for tea. This mug keeps my tea warm (I'm a slow sipper), has a lid (no sloshing liquid spilling out), and is metal so if I drop it (I'm clumsy, haha), it won't shatter.

Love love love this little travel mug! The design is so cute, got so many compliments at work. This mug is super easy to clean and travel with. I was really impressed how leak proof it was, considering the lid doesn’t feel extremely tight. The only liquid that comes out is out of the drink hole when I’m moving it around too much. It also keeps tea at the perfect warmth. It stays warm for a really long time and then stays at a nice drinking level for another good bit of time. Recommend highly!

I love this cup, it keeps my tea hot and is so cute! The only issue I have is that the drink hole in the lid doesn't have a cap. I have a 3 mile drive to work and if I don't stuff something in the whole I have tea all over the lid of the cup and the cup holder. I tried using a paper towel to stuff in the lid hole which absorbs whatever liquid would have come out, but it leaves a mess on the lid also. It's a great cup for home, but not good for travel.

I needed a daily coffee mug for breakfast coffee, this is the perfect size. Love the blue color with kitty cats. I needed light weight for my aging hands.

I ordered this with the specific intent to use it for making herbal tea. The fact that it has a lid means it is easy to steep my tea with the lid on, and the mug keeps it warm without being too hot to sip for a very long time. I would provide an estimate of how long, but the simple fact is that I drink it too fast to know just how long it would stay at the perfect temperature. I really like this design, as well, and it fits my quirky "cat lady" image to a T.

I was a bit hesitant based on the prior reviews, but they must have changed their design because I had no problems with the mug at all! As long as you keep it upright, it won’t leak. I’ve had no issues with rust, even when forgetting it at the office for two days after having coffee in it. I’d say it keeps my drink hot until about lunchtime, so about 4 hours. The design is the cutest! I’ve had so many compliments! Overall, this mug is definitely worth it!!
