Camshaft position slow response bank 1 error on Volkswagen Passat
My daughters 2013 Volkswagen Passat had an engine light come on. I used the Ancel code reader that I got from Amazon for $15 to read the code and it said camshaft position slow response bank 1. After reading online they recommend changing this part. The dealership wanted $180 for the part alone! Local auto parts store wanted $80. So this is a great value. I watched some YouTube videos and was able to replace this part in about 20 minutes. Had to remove air intake (think that’s what it’s called) and cover on top of engine and then it was right there. Unplugged cable and took out one bolt and put new one in. I cleared the engine code with my sensor and since then the engine light has not returned. So far it’s been a great product and appreciate the good value

Installed and Worked
Installed ans worked as it should. I couldn't see any physical difference from oe sensor compared to the holstein. 3 year warranty. I can't complain. Time will tell.

Car has not shut off
After installation my 2013 Passat has prolonged crank before starting and it is making my check engine light come on.

Unfortunately my car did need the wheel speed sensors it needs an abs pump at a cost of $3500 but found a rebuild one for $350
