I have tried 2-3 other brand, but they mostly just read the Bible or lack the search power results this has and make it harder to find exactly what your looking for.I can listen to scripture being read and with 2-3 key works i can find exactly where someone is reading without even asking for book/chapter/verse. I can quickly comment on scriptures being read and justify my interpretation by pointing out other scripture that support and justify the purpose/meaning.i have owned several models of these and this design is my favorite, I guess because it was my first one? It only lists 3-4 lines at a time and not ideal for poor eye sight. The unit turns off the display after a few minutes to save power, but it makes the batteries last longer.Only problem with these are: they do not hold your bookmarks when replacing batteries. I would pay $200 for one of these that stored book marks or transferred them to a pc! I have written the company suggesting an updated version that retains bookmarks.Batteries last several months. Ive waited/looked for 10 years for a new model thay has this funtion! cr2032 (very common and cheap)

Very useful and so compact. The battery is not expensive to replace but carry in a secure pocket or case because it breaks easily.

The Bible was so old there were lines and you spaces between letters.

This electronic book is like carrying two much larger books to every speaking engagement. It allows you to look up any word or phrase with something not much bigger than a credit card. And, my eyesight is very poor - this is very easy too read, and can easily be set to three different type sizes. You can also check the time very discretely.

If you are looking for high tech. then this is not for you. The display is not very easy to read in low light and there are only three short lines displayed at a time. Keys are very small for anyone with big finger tips, like most men. The unit performs well for what it was designed to do. It is easy to use and can be self taught.

I bought this mainly for traveling. No more extra weight in the luggage. It fits in the pocket, purse or carry on so easy. My husband takes it to appointments and always has something to read when he has to wait. Quite easy to use. Glad I purchased it.

I still like this unit. It's good for on-the-go situations and looking up things while traveling like on a plane but...Like I said, it eats batteries like crazy and they are not cheap either! It became an ongoing budget to buy bulk packs of batteries for this thing. Also, the instructions tell you that, if you only remove and replace one battery at a time, then you won't lose your bookmarks. Well, this is simply not true. No matter what you do and no matter how careful, you always lose the saved passwords, files, and bookmarks. I'm pretty that sin of fibbing thing is in there somewhere too.

This came in a timely matter. My husband's 50th birthday was the 2nd of this month. My son wanted to give his dad something and I suggested this as a gift so he got it and it came two days after his days birthday but that was okay. He made his dad very happy to have this as he uses this to prepare Sunday School lessons for Sunday. His other one wasn't working right. He tried to get a used one but that didn't work out either. Thanks for have this sent to my house from my son for his dad.
