Took out two pear trees with a single blade, aggressive cut, doesn't bind, high quality.
My son is a newly wed and just bought a house. He had two pear trees in his backyard that were diseased and needed to be removed. The trunks were 8 inches and 5 inches respectively. I live 900 miles from his house so I didn't want to deal with the mess of transporting my gasoline powered chain saw, especially in my wife's SUV.Therefore, I took these blades and a 20 volt reciprocating saw. I was able to remove both trees and cut them up with 1-1/2 charges of the battery. I used a single blade for the entire operation and it cut extremely well. I cut up all of the trees except for about four feet of the trunks. I left those for his friend to remove with his chain saw. We packed all the debris in large paper yard bags for pickup by the local waste removal truck. These are high quality blades that have an aggressive cut. The set of the teeth cuts a wide kerf which keeps the blade from binding. They don't snap like thinner, cheaper blades have a tendency to do.For serious tree pruning with a reciprocating saw, I highly recommend these blades.

Excellent for cutting tree branches
I have a small 12v Bosch sawzall. These blades allow for precise cutting of branches in foliage. They are not flimsy despite being long. Really happy with the purchase. Just wish there was a blade scabbard as these things are sharp!

Worked for Me!
I trimed branches around my electric wires. Over the years my very tall Cedar tree lower branches grew around the main service entrance wires. Working from a fiberglass commercial ladder I didn’t want to be operating a chainsaw which I would have to buy or to get electrocuted with a pole saw which I would also have to buy so I bought the Diabo blades for my generic Sawzall. To do: I had to make cuts on both sides of the wires so the branches didn’t hang up and take down the wires. Most branches were 4-6” in diameter but a few were larger. Overall the few blades I used worked well. I could have done the job with one blade but the price per blade is very inexpensive. I changed the first thinking the sap was building up and the second because I forced it too much heating it up and bending it. The third blade is still like new. I have a large base of a branch to cut later and am confident that it will be up to task. Could do it with a chainsaw but since I would have to buy one curiosity has me wondering if the blade and an underpowered generic Sawzall will cut it off. After that my tree trimming will be done for years. At $19.99 for a five pack you can’t go wrong.

The best blades, near industrial quality at big box price
The Diablo Swiss made blades are the best and this model is no exception. This 5-pack is an exceptional price. Many of the "name brand" big box blades are pretty interchangeable and decent but Freud products and closer to an industrial product. Not sure if all Diablo blades are Swiss-made but this one is. Running on a DeWalt recip saw it is a monster for light to medium trimming. Quite stiff but you can still break them if you get the tip vibrating; don't abuse.

good deal on good blades
Just used one blade to cut up about 8 lemon trees that died last winter, although it worked fine, seams to dull fairly quickly compared to all purpose heavy duty construction blades that seams to stay sharp near forever, but still, one blade cut up all 8 trees and the cutting may have slowed down towards the middle to the end, it still worked fine to finish the cleanup, just wasn't like cutting butter, and having a 5 blade pack, well, its a great deal, as now i will only need to do a few cuts each year and the 5 blades should last a life time for me, that aside, i was so glad to have these to tackle the job i just had to do, and when i mean dullness, we are talking from 5 to 10 seconds to cut through a 5 inch limb brand new to around 15 seconds after it dulls with around 30 cuts, but it never dulled to the point of having to use the saw like a hand saw to help it along, just one star off for not staying extra sharp like the all purpose heavy duty construction blades do

Good blade.
This is a good blade that I used to cut down a dead tree. The blade is sharp and did not bind in the cut. Nice flexibility that allowed me to cut the stump close to the ground. I like Diablo cutting products and this worked better than the cheaper blades I bought in the past.

Convert your reciprocating saw into a chainsaw
Did you know Bosch owns Freud, and Freud was originally established in Italy? Interesting tidbit, but that said, these blades are all very high quality Swiss-made, and are thicker than your normal reciprocating saw blade. The problem with longer blades is that they are so long, it's easier to get them at the wrong angle (esp when they heat up) and bend them. These thicker Freud Diablo pruners do a fairly good job of avoiding being bent.In the end, I was able to cut down an almost 2 foot diameter, over 6 foot tall "stump" in my front yard. The poor tree died, and I had to remove. Saved a bundle by not having to hire a tree removal company. No, I didn't do it all with these blades -- I used an electric Remington pole saw, and a cordless Rigid sawzall doing most of the smaller cuts with just one or two six inch all-purpose blades, and then to remove the stump, moved up to these 12 in Swiss-made Diablo pruning blades. At around four bucks per foot long blade, they get a big thumbs up from me.
