Fantastic deck builder and great components.
Toy story is a lovable IP. The game is a deck builder where players work toghether to overcome hazzards and dangers and complete the mission before the danger track reaches the end.Let’s start with the components. The game comes with a series of 5 boxes that cointains the cards needed for each scenario to over come. The boxes adds the flavor of each movie in sequence and expands the available cards during the game. The cards are good quality and the art impecable. The game also has a game board that makes set up and tracking simple. Each mission has a metal token that represents something from the movie the scenario has based on.There are five characters and the characters improve their ability twice in each game giving it a bit of character progression. Each hero has unique set of starter cards that makes them feel unique. The tokens for imagination and for play, the currency of the game, could be better but aren’t bad either. The game is fun and simple to grasp. Kids of 8 years and older will enjoy this and unless you are playing the last two missions the game won’t last more than an hour. If fun and entertaining. Full of combinations and combos for epic win moments. I recommend it.

Personally my favorite game to play with the kids
If you've ever played a deck building game, you know exactly what to expect with this one. Players take turns building hands of cards by gaining tokens (in this case, Pixar yellow and red star balls) and overcoming obstacles by using those cards' special skills. What's great about this game is that it somehow manages to closely follow the plots of not just the movies (1 - 4 to be exact), but also some of the specials and shorts. It's been an absolute blast playing it with my youngest (6), and I'm glad to finally have something a bit more complex than Candy Land, or any other games that quite literally play themselves to share with her. Yeah, Mom and Dad will probably have to be a bit more hands-on to help guide the little ones through the decision making, but this does seem to be a very good gateway experience for more complex games to come. The only caveat is that usually by the end of any given game (roughly 30 - 60 minutes), she starts to get antsy and want to go do something else.If you've got kids who love Pixar movies, and can sit still long enough, this game is a no-brainer.

We love deck builders
This game does not disappoint. My husband and I enjoyed the Harry Potter deck building game so much that we played it for months at our weekly game night. Now we get to share the joy of deck building with my niece and nephew. The game mechanics are the same, but simplified for kids. I also love how the story builds up with various "levels", it's a great way to teach the basics. This game is complex enough that an adult should probably play along. I don't think I would recommend this if you wanted something the kids can open up and immediately play by themselves (unless they're older, like 13, but then you should probably just go with the Harry Potter themed game at that point).

Great Cooperative Game
My family is notoriously competitive when it comes to board and card games. We have REALLY enjoyed some of the recent cooperative games that have been released because we have more fun (and less arguments) when we're working toward the same goal. This game has several components to track during gameplay (villains, hazard cards, health trackers, etc) but all it takes is going thru the steps with the help of the instructions for a round and you'll get it.The game play is almost exactly the same as the Harry Potter version, so if you liked that one, you'll like this one (and vice versa).Definitely recommend it for preteen and older board game lovers.

Fun and Challenging Cooperative Game
We love the format of this game. We've played the Harry Potter version so much that we were thrilled when we saw the Toy Story version. While we love that this one allows you to play with 5 players, instead of just 4, it is definitely more challenging in higher levels with more players. It is a lot of fun though. I would definitely recommend it.

MUST BUY
Me and my husband originally bought the Harry Potter board game just like this one and knew we had to have the Toy Story one. It is so much fun, it has the perfect combination of variety and difficulty and we have had a blast getting through the game.

Buen juego
El juego es muy bonito con componentes coloridos. Doy 3 estrellas en vez de 5 porque la bandeja de divisores que trae para colocar los componentes, llegó totalmente rota. También, algunas de las cajas de aventuras están dobladas y un poco rotas.

The Toy Story version of howarts battle
If you are either a fan of howarts battle or have been wanting to try it this is a slightly easier version of it with the same fun. It is a co op game so instead of competing you get to work together ❤️
