I needed a charger and batteries for a Pen E-PM1, the Wasabi battery charger fit the bill at a good price. The batteries don't give a read out of power left, but it appears no after market batteries for the Pen cameras do. I have only had the charger for about a month and so far everything works fine. It charges the batteries rapidly and the batteries seem to hold a charge for a long time. i have only needed to charge them once, this camera doesn't get used as often as some of my other cameras so I have not ever run a battery till it died If over time the batteries don't hold up as long as the OEM battery I will still be ahead of the game because the charger and two batteries sell for about the price of one Olympus battery alone.

I purchased this kit to have two more BLS-1 batteries to use with my new Olympus E-P2 camera. However, what really impressed me was the charger that came with: what an excellent little unit that is! Not only does it have an adapter for international use, it also has one that allows you to use the charger in your car, which comes in very, very handy. It's also very fast, charging both the Wasabi and Olympus BLS-1 batteries very quickly.As for the two batteries, they have proved to be excellent so far. On first use with the E-P2, the Wasabi BLS-1 managed to crank out 306 shots before it gave up the ghost, which is very good for a camera notorious for eating batteries. They seem to be every bit the equal of the OEM battery that came with the camera.With these two Wasabi's, and the original Olympus battery, I can use the E-P2 for about 800 to 900 photos before being completely out of juice. That won't even get me half way through filling up my 16 GB card with photos, as it can hold about 2,200+ high quality JPEG's, but it will get me through a day's worth of shooting under the most extreme circumstances. I would certainly consider getting another kit if going on vacation, as having the extra charger alone would be wonderful.Highly recommended.

Most photographers have painfully discovered that stock OEM batteries for various cameras are often priced quite ridiculously high. Yet, it is essential that we carry additional batteries with us on our photographic jaunts.Luckily, there are a wealth of 3rd party Chinese-made batteries out there under a variety of different brand names, and Wasabi is no different. I've been purchasing Wasabi batteries for a variety of digital cameras I've used over the past decade or more, and I've come to admire their lower pricing, quality, reliability, and longevity. In fact, on many photographic forums, I've sung Wasabi's praises and caused many a photographer to seek them out.So the jest of this review is that if you need extra (quality) camera batteries, I'd suggest you first look up the Wasabi brand (again - Blue Nook is the distributor). You will not only save money, but these batteries will last a long time, and depending on the camera used, they can actually last longer than the original OEM batteries that cost 4-5x as much as the Wasabi brand. Such is the case that I've found with batteries made for Olympus. I've found that consistently, the Wasabi batteries made for a host of Olympus cameras, matched the expensive OEM batteries for longevity and run times.Now also add on a 3 year warranty, and you can't go wrong.Need I say more?

First battery charger they sent didn't work, but Wasabi's customer service was very helpful and quick to act in sending a replacement. So I would recommend this product and this company.

I have always had best of luck with this brand...others not so much. Charger works fine and does charge OEM batteries perfectly. Good stuff.

I was worried that this charger would not be compatible- for my discontinued camera, however, it was perfect!

The batteries work in the camera and that is great. They do not last as long as a fully charged Olympus battery. The biggest issue is that the charger will not charge the stock BL-50. This kinda sucks too because some of the reviews I read said that the charger alone was worth the $25 price tag. I'd return it if I still had all the packaging. I may still try.
