Works great on our lawn tractor
Spending hours on the riding mower was hard to find a way to carry a cell phone. Tractor has a cup holder and this was the answer. Very sturdy hold even on a bumpy ride.

Great phone holder
I tried the vent phone holders and the ones that suction to your car or window. They just didn't put the phone in the right place for me without being distracting. I have to have one because I am a delivery driver and use my phone on the road daily. This product has a long arm that you can bend any way you want to be in the best position for you to reach and see while in the car. Fits into cup holder easily. It has a twist knob at the base that adjusts to make it snug so it doesn't move around at all. Would also be a plus if you had larger cup holders. The actual part that holds the phone works as well. It adjusts out for bigger phones. There are two little arms that the bottom of your phone rest on. These can move in either direction if you need to plug in an Aux cord or charger. There is a button on the back that you press and the sides pop open to take your phone out. Its quick and easy and works well for me as I also have to take my phone out every time I get out to make a delivery.Overall, it works great and I felt is decently priced for what you get. Would recommend.

Works in 2012 Prius V (bottom console holder) after a couple of add-on tweaks
Overall, this is a great phone holder for my Galaxy Note 2 (with the flip-cover case). The adjustable base fits securely in the cup holder. A longer neck (more height) would be better for my situation. Also, the phone holder has two tabs that should prevent the phone from sliding out the bottom (in a portrait setup)...I think these two tabs should be longer. As it is the tabs are not long enough to do much good, so I make sure the phone is clamped tightly on the sides.Workaround for low cup holders:The neck of this phone holder is not long enough for use in the bottom-console cup holder in the 2012 Prius V. My coffee takes priority and gets the top cup holder, so I needed a phone holder to fit in the bottom cup holder. To get around this, I purchased two things to raise the phone holder. The total cost of the two items was under $10 (purchased locally at Wally World). I've added links so you can find them online.First, I placed a Rubbermaid 3319 cup holder organizer in the lower cup holder. The fit is good, but by itself was not enough to raise the phone holder to the height I wanted. Here is a link to the Rubbermaid item: http://origin.rubbermaid.com/category/pages/ProductDetail.aspx?Prod_ID=RP092085Second, to get the additional height I needed, I used an Aladdin 20 oz. go-cup. The cup fits tightly in the Rubbermaid organizer, and is large enough and sturdy enough at the top to hold the Macally phone holder. http://www.amazon.com/Aladdin-20-Ounce-To-Tumbler-Clear/dp/B004Y3E40Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408819173&sr=8-1&keywords=aladdin+cups+with+strawsI hope this is helpful for anyone with a similar situation!

Not completely terrible but not what I was looking for
This holder would get the job done, but upon receiving it I just wasn't that impressed. It's bulky - which I suppose is true of most holders like this; the arm is extremely stiff and difficult to maneuver w ease in one hand. The tightening mechanism for in the cup holder does not make a good fit. I think this was obvious to them as the box had some foam pads added to it to help with this issue. But it's obvious this was an afterthought as the pads have a separate paper for their instructions and are not listed as included on the box. My last gripe is the way it moves from portrait to landscape. The phone swivels on a ring that clicks into different locked positions. Due to the locking positions and the lack of maneuverability of the arm, it was difficult to get the phone directly straight up and down or straight left and right. The phone would always orient into a crooked position - also not helped bc the base never sat flush on the bottom of the cupholder. We ended up going w the air vent clip style and, despite being wary of that style, have liked it much better. So much we bought a second clip style one for my car. Perhaps this all could have been resolved if I had spent more time tweaking it, but to me, a device like this shouldn't need more than a minute or two to figure out.The Macally cup holder was installed (and then uninstalled) in a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder fwiw.
