Wish I'd Bough it ages ago!
Oh how I struggled with my old WiFi card, reluctant to take the back off my XPS. I needn't have worried, Amazon, Intel and YouTube to the rescue!10 minutes of YouTube video makes swapping WiFi cards a simple 5-minute job. The new Intel card is higher spec, faster, 100% reliable, uses native drivers and is already connected every time I log in.If you're M2 WiFi is flakey, this easy fix and upgrade is well worth it.

Ok, wifi card. I replaced an Intel AC3160 for this one. It has a better performance overall, but not that much. I would say it's 20% better. It may be that my laptop is 5 years old and there are some kind of incompatibility with the BIOS/motherboard. I do not know, but the thing is that it works and now I have wifi 6 and bluetooth 5.1.

Paid more for this wifi card than some others available. No distinguishable difference. Worked OK.

Worth upgrading.
Bought this upgrade the standard laptop adapter as MSTeams and Skype has poor connection despite a strong WiFi signal. This solved the problem and then some! I’ve never installed anything in a laptop but a few YouTube videos later I had a go and it was so easy.Just remember to install the drivers before starting and then uninstall the old card.

Very stable connection, get an AX COMPATIBLE HUB/router for maximum results.
Okay, so I’ve install this on a Lenovo 700 AIO. 16gb Ram ddr4 I7 intel processor 2tb Hard disc and 512 SSD. Etc etc.We have the new Sky Hub 5 with Sky Q.The machine still only runs on the AC format, because of the Hub/router.In all honesty it’s made little or no difference on the surface of things. BUT the big change is stability, my ZOOM, SKYPE and TEAMS conference calls are much more stable.If your looking for a new AX compatible Hub/Router ask Father Christmas as they are crazy bonkers expensive at this time.I’m happy that it’s installed, nice to be ahead of the tech world for a change.
