Vegan fish and chips
Used it to make a vegan fish and chips and it was incredible! I hand battered it and fried it and it went nice and crispy, doesn’t have much flavour so I had to improvise and make a marinade. Well worth the time and makes up to 4 portions from one tin.

Not really for me
Didn't like the taste of this at all but it's my first time trying it, so maybe you will. the product itself seems good so I gave it 5 stars since Im sure someone who likes this would be happy with this product.

Not cheap, but good quality
Great product for making vegan 'fish' tacos. Toss them in a spicy flour mix (add some seaweed powder for that extra fishy taste) and deep fry or air fry with a spray of oil.

Excellent for vegan meals
Used this for making vegan fish which is excellent when marinated and dipped in nori sprinkles, also great in curries.

An acquired taste
On the plus side, you get an awful lot from one small tin. Enough for 2 to 4 people if you are adding to roast vegetables, for example. I thought thry tasted slightly vinegary, but I think that is the preserving liquid they use so a strong marinade would cover that taste. They are very much like Jackfruit but pretty weird looking if you are not used to them. I might try them again one day but not for a while.

Brilliant for “fish” and chips
I used this to make “fish” and chips. It was really really nice. I made a gluten free batter with beer and a mix of gluten free flours and nori. It was really nice I can highly recommend.

Filling, delicious & keto
Washed and straight from the can, these taste just like plain artichokes. Even the texture tastes the same as artichokes! These taste great mixed with vegetables and sautéed in olive oil, salt, paprika & cumin seeds. The macros are brilliant and suitable for a ketogenic diet too!Good product, don't purchase if you hate artichokes!
