Dan’l Boone Ham in Seattle
Dan’l Boone end package is a great value. I’m in Seattle, Wa area , originally from the Boone area 70 years ago. I am so thrilled with this ham. We already had ham biscuits for dinner. The taste was spot on, just like being in N.CI have ordered ham slices twice before and kept in freezer. So good…..

Old Ham
The ham trimmings pack I received was over nine months beyond its "best by" date. Not taking any risks with possibly dangerous pork products. Refund received. I will get my ham needed for pinto bean pot elsewhere.

My favorite brand of Country Ham!
Growing up in NC, and then living in Virginia most of my life until 6 years ago, if the Goodnight brothers didn’t make your country ham you knew the family and gamer who did personally! The Goodnight family makes a great ham that has been consistent and you know what you are eating from Dan’l Boone Inn to the local Hardee’s or Bo’s.Fast forward 6 years, and I am in the PNW without country ham, and not even a passible type from the Commissary! I gave up and paid the premium and ordered it!I wish I had ordered this sooner! I took the package apart and used the small pieces to make black eyed pea soup, and my husband has sat here and done nothing but continuously repeat how GOOd it was, and enjoyed the fresh bread I made. Now I need to make biscuits! Not only was dinner delicious, I am thinking of great memories of Watching Horn in the West (a local NC outdoor drama), after having a delicious dinner At Dan’l Boone Inn where we ordered a few extra Ham biscuits to go for breakfast the next Morning!Thank you this is Awesome!

Amazing genuine product
Fantastic, authentic taste reminiscent of the country hams from my grandparents' farm in my childhood. I live in Ohio where country ham is anathema to locals. So glad I can get Dan'l Boone Ham from Amazon.

Salty
Product is way too salty. I only used about 40% in a Big pot of beans & oh my goodness I had to peel & chop a potato to try & remove some of the salty taste .. I hope it works or I’ll have to toss my beans out!
