Excellent fume and particle mask for welding.
Nice and light with replaceable elements that are quick change (the mask comes with an extra set of elements in the package). Fits real well under my welding hood and it's lightweight and easy on and off as well and replacement elements are available here on Amazon.3M is and has been the undisputed leader in PPE filtration and this mask is no exception, I recommend it for all welding disciplines where off gassing and fume mitigation is required.

Most excellent air filter mask
I weld and stuff in my shed so keep the doors open but still enclosed area more or less. This I could not smell anything and when I took it off WOAH what a difference. If smell is an indicator of the work it's doing then I'd say it pretty much takes care of everything. Mask fits fine I haven't tried another size but I'm thinking it could be a tinge bigger so maybe I'll get a large next time and see what happens.

Does what it says and does it well.
Finally had a chance to try it. I welded floor pans and a side panel on a Cj7 in a poorly ventilated area. Mask fit. It recommends that you shave but I didn't. No problem at all. If you're looking for a good respirator, this is you. I needed this year's ago for the brief time my ex was in her cooking stage. That was rough week.

Fits under welding hood
I noticed a bit of a chemical smell as noted in other reviews. The biggest win for me is that it fits perfectly under my Lincoln welding hood. I had another mask that was supposed to fit but never did and I always tasted smoke/metal even when wearing it. I used this mask and while I smelled the chemical smell, it fit well, didn't obstruct the mask and it filtered out everything perfectly. I'd but it again.

Great little respirator for plasma cutting and many types of welding. I like that it fits cleanly under my welding helmet. The fact that it is comfortable and doesn't get in the way makes it significantly more likely that I will actually use it when needed.
