Soooo Good! A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

I really enjoy this hot chocolate! I purchased this because I want to get away from the highly processed sugars and chemicals that the big commercial brands so often use...So I decided to try this one. I like the fact that they use organic coconut sugar and I like the extra health boost of the mushrooms. I also like the non GMO. But dont worry, you can NOT taste the mushrooms..but you get their benefits! ..this has a very rich smooth chocolate decadent flavor and is very enjoyable any time in the day but I mostly enjoy it in the morning. I've always been a hot chocolate drinker and not a coffee drinker. I add this to a mug of hot water and just stir! So, super easy like the big commercial brands except way healthier for your bod! :)

I recently tried Laird's Hot Chocolate and wanted to share my experience with others. Overall, I found it to be a decent cocoa supplement that offered a unique twist with the addition of MCT.When I first tasted the hot chocolate, I could definitely detect the presence of MCT. It had a distinct flavor that added a subtle richness to the overall taste. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the cocoa flavor wasn't overshadowed by the MCT. The cocoa taste and aroma were still prominent, which made the hot chocolate enjoyable.In terms of texture, I did notice that it wasn't as creamy as traditional hot chocolate. While some may prefer a creamier consistency, I personally didn't mind it. I found it to be smooth enough to satisfy my chocolate cravings.To sweeten the hot chocolate a bit, I decided to add stevia. This helped enhance the sweetness without overpowering the cocoa and MCT flavors. However, it's worth mentioning that sweetness preferences vary, so adjust accordingly to suit your taste.One thing that stood out to me was the slight resemblance to the "yahoo drinks" you mentioned. The nostalgic notes in the flavor profile brought back memories of those classic drinks, which added a touch of familiarity to the experience.

I don't know if mushrooms ground into stuff are healthy or not. But this is certainly tasty. It does have a slightly different taste but is not offensive.

I truly adore this product and think they got it completely right - please never change the formula!! I would love to drink this every morning for the rest of my life. Flavor is delicious and ingredients are excellent. Love the coconut milk powder as an ingredient, what it adds to the nutritional profile, and for how it makes it creamy. I think any flavor added from the coconut milk powder is VERY slight and does not take away from the cacao at all - it blends together perfectly.

This tastes alright but have me extremely bad & painful gas. Did some research on what had been in my diet that week or so, cut out this product & several food items for a week or two & when this shroom chocolate was reintroduced to my system all funky crampy hell broke loose! Wound up getting a refund & giving it to a friend who suffered brain damage & is not reishi sensitive like me. They have no issues thus far thank goodness. Soooo, if you are sensitive just get the kind without reishi mushroom in it. All of Laird’s drinks mix so well, very fluffy and dissolves beautifully. Super good chocolate taste, I like to add some almond milk creamer to add some more sweetness and thickness. The only thing I don’t like is the bag doesn’t reseal very well, but I just use a clip.

best tasting - great for chill out time - would like a larger size - like ALL Laird Hamilton products - nutrition and flavor go hand in hand, is in my keeper list!
