Furoshiki- Japanese Traditional Wrapping Cloth (Kyoto-Stripe: Blue/Olive Green)

I ordered the FUROSHIKI- Japanese Traditional Wrapping Cloth (Kyoto-stripe: Blue/Olive green) for a very specific intended purpose, which was not for wrapping a gift, but rather as fabric for a DIY pen roll. The reverse side had a pretty pattern, so I ended up using that to make a "sash" for the wrap. Overall, my project turned out quite well, and kinda resembles a kimono with an obi (see pictures).If you cut this, be aware that the polyester threads will start unraveling pretty fast, so have your backing fabric ready.

I love the backing on this cloth and the quality and feel of it as well. It's a gift in itself!

Smaller than I expected but really beautiful.

Very beautiful and perfect for my 16cm bento boxes.

Both the design and the material are what I've expected. It's pretty and makes me feel happy whenever I see my lunchbox wrapped with it. It's in a square shape. Made with 100% polyester and can be washed in your washing machine, low tumble with warm water. Dry it on a rack.

I just love it. It is a little harder than I thought but it works very well and I like the reversible patters. Good for wrapping a lunch box.

Thin fabric but great quality and pretty pattern. Came on time too.
